You guys aren't ready for this new book (me either) it's gonna be crazy (literally not even that cool) super excited(I'm super excited)
Feeling the bullet hit me, I flew to the floor. Groaning loudly as I watched his man laugh and reach to take me for their reward money.
I really did not think this through. I had no trouble faking my death, but I had weed to smoke when I got home and now I'm screwed.
I can't smoke it if I'm dead. "Wait! Can we do this another day? I can't do this today. Wait! Wait!" Throwing myself out of their arms, I hold my hands over my stomach.
Running like a moron, I started screaming hoping one of them would hear me.
But I am directionally challenged. So I was running right into the door frame before I even got close to being away from this. "Can you keep this part to yourselves?"
"No. I will be telling. Everybody exactly what I just saw." They pick me up by my arms and legs. Dragging me along the floor. "What are you going to do with the money?"
"Buy stupid shit. 600 million is a lot of money." It's gone up. "Oh my god. Is that how much I'm worth? God, being this good is a crime-" I cackled. "Literally. Oh god I'm drowsy. Am i actually bleeding?"
"Clearly." He spits. Throwing me into the dark room, my back hitting the wall before my body fell to the floor.
I'd had the sudden realisation that I was dying. Really dying. I was about to die and this is the last thing I was going to see.I can't die like this. I mean seriously this is awful. They get my money and I have to actually die. It seems unfair. I can make my heart stop beating and fake it.
But I couldn't fight my way out once I got the money from them.
So I was just laid here, the cameras on me from all angles.
I felt some switch turn when I heard the footsteps, I could recognise those footsteps from miles away.
It was like some kind of reboot, my body was weak and my head was heavy. But I was not letting him take away anybody else from me.
The blood was falling from my mouth and it tasted awful but I couldn't stop it. "How- you were dead just a second ago."
"I'm back bitch." Taking the gun from the counter, he wraps his arm thigh around Louis' neck. "I'll snap his neck right here."
"I'll shoot you before you can even get your fucking hand to his head." I couldn't see properly. "You'll be dead in a second anyway. I can wait."
"I'm going to fucking shoot your brains out you stupid fuck. If you let him go I'll shoot you else where." He laughs. "You can't aim for anything right."
"You've got a fucking death wish." He raises his eyebrows and I gave up. Shooting him right between his eyes. Dropping my arm, feeling the hairs on my neck stand on end.
Aiming up above Louis' head, I shoot with my head almost falling. Watching the guy fall from the balcony. "You need to be taken care of. Come on."
"No I'm dead. Let me die." He catches me as my legs give in and the gun falls to the floor. "Not happening, I got you. Tyler!" I shake my head. "It's fine. I'm fine."
"You're pale. I can't carry you." He cries. "I can stand. We can pretend."
"I don't want to pretend." I sniffled. "I'm not dying. I'm not going to die." The expression on his face made it almost impossible to see past this moment. I wanted to believe i would live.
But his eyes were telling me different. "Tyler!" His voice was breaking as he mumbled to himself. "I'm not dying. That's why I'm telling you this, also because- I'm drowsy and I'm using it to my advantage."
"What?" My eyes were closing. "You need a haircut. Bad." He tuts at me. "Harry this isn't the time. Tyler! Hurry up! You're not dying. It's fine. You're fine."
"I love you." I drop my head back. Pressing my hand over my stomach to stop the bleeding. "What?" He breathed. "I love you." I repeat.
My throat was drying, the bleeding was stopping. "You're saying this because you think you're going to die. You're not. Take it back. Please. Oh god please take it back I can't- have you say that to me like this."
"I take it back." I smiled. Watching his pupils dilate. "You can't do that."
"That's not why I said it and you know it." He leans in, kissing me just before Tyler came stumbling in. "Izzy and Daisy are missing."
"They're hidden." Louis says. "Oh- what- oh shit. Shit." My chest was burning. "I was shouting."
"I'm sorry." I was losing my breath. Which was normal but it was getting hard to try.
One minute I was trying to make myself less heavy for Tyler and make it easier to carry me. The next thing I know I'm being blinded by the hospital lights. "Fuck-"
Sitting up, I looked over at Louis. He was the only one in here. He looked different, he looked good, really good.
He got his hair cut. I forget how big his arms arm until I see him with his arms folded.
Thank god I'm not dead because never seeing that again would drive me mad. "Damn." I was just shamelessly staring. Wondering how the fuck I'd managed to get where I am.
Then he woke up, glaring at me because of the light. "If I said please, would you let me?" He hums. "Unlikely."
"But I'll ask really nicely. Watch." He shook his head. Standing beside my bed with his hands over my cheeks. "You need to get some rest."
"But you're so pretty." I sort of enjoyed it when he was taller than me. "You need to sleep. You just got shot." He kisses me gently. "I survived. Come on. Please?"
"No, you're in a hospital." He whispered. "Yeah but you look so good right now. Seriously, really good. You look fucking great."
"Go to sleep." He kept kissing me and it wasn't helping settle this down. "I'll be quiet."
"I know you will baby, but you have to sleep. You're not actually allowed to do anything for a few weeks." He kisses along my jaw. "What do you mean anything?"
"You can't train, or do- other things that require quick movements." He was being a tease. "Then I'll move slow. Louis you're not helping."
"I just wanted a kiss." I drag him onto the bed with me. Kissing his cheek with my arms wrapped around him. "Sleep here with me. I don't want to sleep here alone."
"How come?" He lifts his head up. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared. I'm not using you as a shield I just, feel a little bit calmer when you're around."
"Okay." I move over. Both of us squashed in the middle with no space at all. "I don't want to die, Louis. I really really don't want to die anymore. It's terrifying."
"You're not going to die. I promise you. Everything will be fine. Just try and sleep." His hand was rested on my face and it felt like a blanket. "I'm sorry."
