She'd gone back to her usual silence. Sat across from me just stabbing her ice cream. "I'm sorry, you don't have to talk and you can tell me to shut the fuck up. I just got scared and I didn't want to end up where he was. It was selfish and stupid and I deserve every bullet you fire. But I mean this with my whole heart when I tell you that I will protect you with my life. Now, now that I'm able to think and know what it means to care. I will protect you."

She looks up at me, her eyes red and her face barely covered in her usual freckles. "If you wanted to leave, I can get you wherever you wanted to go. But if you want to stay, I would like that better. I just want you to be okay."

"Why n-now?" She sits back. "Because I couldn't do it for you earlier. I should've been there. But I left you. I'm going to be spending the rest of my life finding ways to earn so many peoples forgiveness, but yours is first. I left you, Izzy. I know I'm a bad brother, I lied to you and I didn't even seem to care. But I do now. I care."

"You, lie a lot." Her lips quivers. "I know I do. But I'm getting better at being better. The life he made you live and the things he made you do, I don't want those things. I want you to live the way you should have been able to. I want you to go to parties and make fitness, I want you to smile, I want you to eat ice cream because I know you're enjoying it, I want you to be able to talk to whoever you want without having your every move tracked."

"I don't, stay- stop talking for, for fun." She stuffs the ice cream into her cheek. "I know. You don't have to explain yourself Izzy. You can talk to me and tell me things, but I don't expect you to come right out and tell me everything you know."

"Oh." Daisy runs in, almost sitting next to the people in the next booth over. "Oh, sorry. Hi, okay so- um, I- Harry." Her breathing picks up as her hands start to shake. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know." She cries. "Okay, it's okay." I hold my arms out. Sitting her next to me. "I can't feel my teeth." She said through a harsh breath. "Ice cream?" Isadora asked with a scared look on her face. "No I'm okay."

"Oh." She frowns, going back to eating, huffing a little. "It's okay. Just talk to me, talk me through what you were doing."

"I was just in the library- and, and I- I don't know. I was there, I heard a voice and then I just panicked." Rubbing her back, I rest my head on hers. "It must've been the accent. There's a few from around where the town was.   But he's gone, you're safer than ever I promise."

Rob brought her some ice cream over, not saying a word before he walked away. "That one has chocolate in it. It wasn't personal I promise." She nods. "Oh. Okay."

"This is Daisy." Daisy sat up, giving her a little smile. "Hi. I'm sorry if I interrupted you guys." Isadora shook her head. "It's okay."

"Oh, by the way. We were all going down to California for the last few days of July because we have a show there and we wanted to see how much we could do. You seemed to like it last time."

"Yeah. Yeah no that sounds good. I have to go shopping with Izzy. Did you want to go with us?" She jumped at the chance. "Always. I'm always down to go shopping. Do you know what clothes you want? You're wearing Harry's right now right?" She nods. "Yes."

"Daisy, please remember what I told you." Her shoulders slump as she sits back. "You're so right. I'm sorry. I like your hair though, it's very pretty, it's like- shiny. Matches your eyes."

"Your style is a lot different, you seem to like the skirts though, right?" Isadora looks up at me. "Can- I wear, skirts?"

"That's not up to me, that's up to you. You can wear whatever you want. If you don't want any of this then we can put it back and start again. But you are in complete control here."
