Tw// attempted suicide.
Please note that I love you, there is always a number to call or a person to talk to, I love you I love you I love you.

"My dad's here so just, try and keep your hands down." He nods. "Okay. Why couldn't Daisy come with us?"

"Uh she's- she's not big on crowds." They'd have shot her dead the second she walked through the door. "Can you get me a drink?" Ruby nods. "Yeah. Guys you wanna go with me?" They hummed. "Yeah."

"That's weird," Louis mumbled. "My dad's here." Ruby was always the best with keeping calm, but even she seemed to be spooked by it. "Hiya kid, you're here as a plus one? Right?" He nods. "Yeah. Why are you here?"

"That is a really really good question." He looks up at me, his eyes staring through to what little soul I had left. "R- Marz you, take them to get their drink."

"Right. Right, come on." She drags Louis away. I watched, scared for his life. "I'm being set up." He whispered. "Val had it wrong. I was there with his daughter to get everybody out of that, they took his daughter and framed me."

"Wow, I mean— wow. I've heard some strange excuses before, but that? That's a new one." He shakes his head. "Harry I would not ever do something like that. I've done some fucked up things to save my kid but that? The things on that list are-" his eyes were watering.

"I wouldn't do that. You have to believe me." If i believe him, I'm dead. Val won't even give me chance to explain, but if i kill him, Louis would never speak to me again. "Don't eat the pie."

"Why?" I pout. "It's- made of redneck meat." That was all I had. "You- oh my god you are insane. Harry I will do whatever I need to do to prove that it's not me, I'm here because there's an auction in the back room in- half an hour."

"Val will kill me, you have to understand." He nods. "I do. Harry i understand more than anybody else you'll talk to. But I'm not dying, not like this. I'm not dying before my kid graduates, Val is here right?"

I wasn't allowed to say. "Okay. Kid I'm so sorry you have to be here. I'm sorry you have to do this. I've kept Louis out of this for as long as I can, I know he's protected with you, but I need you to keep him out of this."

"I think I'd rather kill my self than have him apart of this. Maybe I'll do that. I mean, if I kill myself, you can fix this and I get to kill myself." He takes my drink from me. "I've fixed this before, I'll fix it now. Please don't kill yourself."

"No fucking promises." I walk back over towards Louis, completely forgetting my own warning, kissing Louis and resting my head on his shoulder before I felt my heart drop. "Shit."

I didn't even stay long enough to get another word in. I just needed to get this over with.

"Tobey Phillips. That's the man we're looking for- are you okay?" I nod. I need to get this done with, I needed this to be over. "Val."

"You're not dead." He says against his glass. "No because it's not me you're after. You remember Tobey? The man that tried to sell you those 'cars' a few years ago?"

"The-" second time today that he's been so stuck that he stopped talking. "Holy shit, Conrad I almost had you killed."

"See, he believes me- Harry what is wrong?" Val rests his hand on my shoulder. "You don't have to do this, this is going to take more people, more time. But Harry you're my top student so I need you on this too. Please."

"I need a break." Walking out towards the crowds, I take down as many drinks as I can. His cold hand wrapping my throat. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

He throws me through the doors, my back punching a hole through the wall before I fall to the floor. His foot bashing my stomach over and over again.

He was smiling, I've never seen my father smile. This must be my last day because there wasn't a chance that he'd ever smile again.

His punches weren't as strong which means he was using again. His grip wasn't as strong either which meant it was coke.

He gets weak when he's on coke. His life hangs in the balance but he never dies.

He was screaming and yelling but I couldn't hear a word he was saying. By some miracle, he'd left me alive, the footsteps seemed to scare him off.

Tobey Phillips, he had ten men that he worked with. All somehow managed to survive every attack. But he was at a disadvantage, he only ever does these so out in the open if he's gloating.

I had two guns, each had six bullets. If I do this right, I can have this done and over with before they even notice that I'm gone.

Thank god for silencers. My god I can't wait to die. "All clear sir. No signs of struggle. Tomlinson seems missing."

If I get Tobey first then the rest should be easy. He was heading this way, which is awful for me, but it could be seen as a good thing.

"We're good boys. Fucking idiot actually fell for it. I wonder if his son is as fucking stupid." Now it's fucking personal. "Probably."

Tobey turns the corner, the bullet flying through his head, then one by one, they all piled in. One bullet each, easy work.

My head was pounding and the blood was burning my eyes, but my aim was still perfect as ever.

There was eleven of them, which was fine. I suppose.

Didn't bother me.

I make my way through the crowd again, weak and dizzy. Trying to get to the empty balcony, if the bullet doesn't work the fucking drop should.

Closing the doors, I stood out by the edge. The cold barrel sat nicely on my temple.

My finger pulls back the trigger, I heard the click, I felt the pressure, but the bullet was jammed. "Fuck!" Throwing it onto the floor, I watched the bullet fire at the wall across from me. "Fuck you!"

I kick the stone from the balcony, watching it smash against the boulders, rolling into the water beside it.

My tears mixed in with the blood as I moved out towards the edge, until I was dragged back. Ruby pulled me back, my crying hadn't helped this situation.

"What happened? Harry you can't just do that." The doors open again. All of them stumbling to try and stop. "We need to go. We need to leave right now." Hero said quickly. "What?"

"His dad is looking for him." Tyler said, out of breath and sounding muffled. "Call Daisy, tell her to meet us at the hospital-"

"No! No! Just- let me go! Get off me!" Louis dad stopped by my feet, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. "Get off me! Let me die! Just fucking let me die! Please!"

There was so much noise I'm not even sure my screaming was bothering anybody. "But me down!" My head was spinning. My heart was stopping, I took a breath in, closing my eyes.
