"Okay the album is supposed to be out today and we still have an entire song we have to record. Somebody's going to have to break the news." Diana said, quickly.

All of us turned to Zayn. Who had happily been up for the job. "Damn. No arguments?"

"Nah, I set the date, not going to complain that we didn't do it in time. Just thought it could be a good challenge." He was oddly optimistic today. "Are you on coke?"

"No. No I'm just, giddy. Why is it bad?" I shake my head slowly. "No. No it's good it's just confusing. You're not, downward spiralling again are you?"

"Nope. This morning, Marz called me ducky and I just, I don't know, it was way funnier than I'd care to admit and so now I'm really giddy." I blinked at him a couple times before it really set in. "She called you ducky?"

"Yep." He pursed his lips. "As in-" he nods frantically. "Yep."

"Oh my god. So this is like official then? I can rub it in her face that she caved before you did?" He tuts at me. "You remember that?"

"Obviously. I mean, I get hundred dollars out of it, why would I not remember that?" Louis chuckles. "You know, considering you're a millionaire, you are a very stingy guy."

"Billionaire. But whatever, who even cares." I clear my throat, filling the awkward silence. "Okay, well I'm gonna- come up with a better excuse over that way." Zayn steps away. Louis standing there with a big grin. "What?"

"I got new books today." I can't make fun of him. I cannot make fun of him. "That's cool. Which ones?" He tilts his head. "Shakespeare. Aristotle. Couple more Shakespeare."

"Mhm, that's- great baby. So happy for you." God knows why this was so hard to get through. They're just books. "Yeah. And they came with book marks too. It was really cool."

He's doing this on purpose. He has to be. "Wow. That's, so cool." He was staring at me like a puppy. "Right? That's what I said. I got a few little highlighters and pens for my class too, but I think I'll have to buy more for separate analysis on my other books, if I use all the ink on my non class books I might end up fucking something up and missing a quote."

"What a travesty." I cough a couple times, trying to sneak the word neek in there a couple times before I completely implode.

Mumbling out some bullshit to myself before I quickly realised the power I had with his terrible hearing. So I'd carried on mumbling.

"Gay boy says what?" He blinks at me. "What?" I cackled. "Dickhead. God you're so pretty. Please never leave me, I'll kill myself and everything you love," I grab his face, kissing his forehead. "K bye.."

Walking back into the studio, I watched Tyler shake his head at me in shame.

I draw a heart shape in the air, blowing him a kiss. "Cheater! He's cheating!" Tyler yelled, pointing at me. "Sorry guys. I can't help myself. Oh, also, banquet tonight. Girls your dresses are in your rooms. You- uh, four, there's- that's not right, no there's three of you. Anyway, suits, in your rooms."

"Jesus, he's broken. Sorry I think I've gotten to him so bad he's fallen head over heels." Tyler pouts. "I think you need to get your head checked."

"What is not adequate? I've never had any issues with it before. Hero likes it." Hero grabs his head, pushing it into the couch. "Hm, Hero you've gotten stronger."

"Yeah cause I'm fucking great." She smiled so sweetly it was hard to understand the situation. "Yeah. Okay let's get this done. I have somewhere to be- you're so pretty."

Louis groans. "You're really annoying when you're happy." I shrug. "I'm pretty cute."

"I can hide so many things under my dress, it's fucking awesome- oh, when we get home can we watch the price is right? Please?"

"Are you kidding? Of course. I have it all on dvr for you." She sighs. "Oh my god I'm living the life. Literally nothing else could make this better." She turns around, Isadora angrily storming in. Daisy stopping where she's stood.

"Except maybe that." Isadora looks up from her dress, glaring at the first person she sees, which just happened to be Daisy. "Why do I have to go to this stupid banquet anyway?"

"Because it'll be nice? Like a family outing. Plus if you don't go then we can't get in because we said eleven people so if you don't show up we're screwed."

"There's eleven of us going?" Zayn asked. "Yeah. Us eight, Chase, James and Diana." Louis squints. "Why did you say their names like that?"

"Ew." James heaves. "I'd rather kill myself." Diana adds. "I would never stoop that low. Cause, yikes." Diana smacks James on the chest. "Shut up. What is wrong with you?"

"I speak the truth Diana. The truth is that you're a bitch and I want nothing to do with you." James sticks his thumbs up. "What like I want you around? 30 years is enough but now your son is basically married to the little scrote that I have to take care of."

"Aww, you almost called me your son." Diana turns her stare to me. "Do not ever say that ever again. You are not my son."

"You love him. Don't even try to deny it, he's basically the kid you never got." Daisy laughed. "More like the kid I never wanted." Diana mumbled. "Lies. You called him your kid the other day whilst threatening a man's life."

"Shut up, nobody cares." She huffs out like a child. Chase makes his way in, he was walking into everything he came into sight with. "Okay are we ready to go?"

"I think Chase needs some ice for his shoulder." James said. Smacking Chases shoulder, hard. "James!" Diana pushes him away, all three of them walking out, bickering like idiots. "I wonder what they were like at the academy." Daisy said. "Probably not good."

"Yeah but they've been friends for so long, Chase has been in love with her for his knows how long and now after years of not seeing each other it's like, so much worse."

"She used to talk about him a lot. Sort like the way I'd talk about Louis but so much angrier for a lot of her stories. They were constantly fighting for first place. But I learned recently that he almost beat her and then ended getting distracted in his final and she beat him by three points."

"So they didn't like each other?" Zayn asked, walking backwards standing in front of me. "No they hated each other. Not like normal people, they'd tried to kill each other so much that James actually thought they might've been dead, turns out they were doing a task, but still. It got really bad. I think my father liked Diana at one point but, Chase is- Chase, so of course he won every time."

"That makes so much sense. I forget they didn't just go to school and they did have lives at one point." Marz huffs. "Barely. His father tried to ruin their lives so much they barely had time to think, they cried more than they talked."

"That's- sad. At least they're okay now." Louis trips out from the door, right into my chest. "Oh my god, hi baby." He breaths out a laugh. "Hi. Sorry, it keeps happening." He looks so pretty. "I don't mind."
