Jasper wiped his tears,

"But... but I'm useless..."

August points up, "Don't make excuses. Jasper, you'll train with us."

"What?!"

I nodded, "Yeah Jasper, I think the problem isn't that you're weak... But you don't want to fight."

"Huh?"

August smirks, "You think I didn't notice? Your skills with that shovel was not something done by an amateur. You sure do have potential, but why are you so afraid?"

Jasper looks down, "I used to train with Sebatsian and Cosen. Both were strong, and I wanted to be with them... After their death I was scared. too scared that those who I cherished would die. Too scared to pick up a sword or a weapon... Plus fighting isn't for me. I love research, I love studying history. That's where I truly belong."

August sighs, 'Then maybe training isn't an option..."

I smiled, "That's why we love you Jasper... But..."

August nods, "You'll need something to protect yourself."

I walk over, "Why not use the artifact?"

"But you said."

"Hehe that was the moment feeling... but if I had to say, now is the right time Jasper."

August points to the box as he leans on a wall, "What is the artifact anyways?"

"[Olethros] it's a three jewel ring I found in that junk. I don't know its functions though. I'll put it on for now."

August asks, "Does this mean there could be more artifacts there? Now that Anemoi is gone we can investigate it more thoroughly."

Jasper sighed, "I don't know if the University of Archaeology will allow the branch to continue after this incident."

August smirks, "I'll fund it."

I smiled, "Are you sure you have the gold to do so, August?"

"Hey, even if I spend my life savings to save you. As an emperor I've gathered up some hidden gold. Plus it's a good investment."

After a while Eloria returned first, followed by the Tuca Kingdom knights to clean up the area. We reported that it was the work of the Black Raven Guild. August, while having the persona Wilhelm managed to get a letter sent to his brother, to fund the project. Cleo was wounded but her mental strength was strong as she told us that she would remain here with the surviving students, with the help of some knights who were to protect the area from any more dangers. Lily, Raoul's wife, also didn't come out of their residence for a while. Until she walked out and also decided to help.

As all of us were about to leave Cloe and the students ran up to Jasper who was tired.

"Professor Jasper!"

"Professor Jasper, don't give up!"

"Professor Jasper, avenge Professor Raoul for us!"

Lily cries out, "Professor Jasper! Avenge my husband!"

Jasper's face lifted, "You guys..."

Cleo smiled, "Jasper, come back safe..."

As we made our way out, August teased Jasper, "Seems like your girlfriend is going to wait for you."

"Shut up, is that how I should say about you and Xenia?"

"..."

Eloria laughed, "Crazy how he just shuts his mouth like that fast. Me personally—"
