Chapter 25: Protector of Beasts

Hyde points, "So we've traveled from my castle, and around like this–"

Eloria grins, "So where is Zephyr."

"He should be near us actually, Chevalier Island, east of us."

Dark walks up, "Before you decide to go... Archangi actually already took down his side of the Nox Government."

August sighs, "And from the little we've seen from him... It will be hard for him to hand us the key..."

Lucy groans, "That moron... He always has a stupid carefree attitude... he gets so cocky someones it's annoying."

Hyde laughs, "Although he has the strength to prove his ego..."

Dark nods, "Please, I'm sure Zephyr would hand over the key if he had a good fight. Now, I must return to nature, you can count on me if you need any support."

As huge wings grew out of Dark's back he flew off, and for the rest of us, we returned back to our ship and headed to Chevalier Island. While we traveled, August called all of us for the next few steps.

August laughs, "I feel like now is the time to split up."

Rayth sat down, "Why?"

Hyde smirks, "Now that the troublesome children were taken care of... what remains are people we can trust. While I was looking at splitting up as an objective lie... I think I can trust this time."

I scratched my head, "So, how should we split?"

Jasper points, "Oh also, how can we split? There is only one ship."

August grins, "Oh, Yak didn't tell you guys? We have many mini boats we can take. So here's the plan."

We all watched closer in as August points to the map,

"There are five islands we'll need to split up. Chevalier Island, Serpin Island, Nirvana island and Celestial island."

Hyde points, "Let's make our meeting point be Nirvana island, that's where the main ship will be headed."

August then split us up, "Eloria and Lyn, you two will head to Chevalier Island. Lucy and Rayth will head to Serpin island, Hyde and Jasper will head to Celestial Island... And Alina and I will head to Nirvana Island."

Everyone shouted, "ALRIGHT!"

We quickly opened the mini boats as me and Eloria were the closest, and the first to head out. August grips onto my Lambda, "Make sure to call once you get the key, and head to Nirvana... We're close Lyn..."

I nod, "Yeah... I got it..."

We then drifted apart from the main group. Obviously Rayth with his recently discovered talent of drawing drew replica maps for each group...

Once both Eloria and I landed on Chevalier Island Eloria rushed around. Again, a lot of the settlements were destroyed by the Nox Government... A lot of people were dead... As someone approached, it was Zephyr.

"You see, the Nox Government wiped out the good people of this island. And for that... I won't forgive them."

Eloria gleefully grabs the tilt of her sword, "Such a shame isn't it."

I pointed, "And you let them kill people?"

Zephyr's eyes were glowing crimson red, as an intense aura was flowing out, "You think I didn't try? There was a man within the army... He was able to create shadow clones of himself. Hm gotta say, I lost that fight... he overpowered me... and I was hopeless... I was going to use my incarnation until Siryu stopped me. Hey... I'm getting a little bored here... Are you here to fight?"
