Reminisce 5: Melchior's Upbringing

Melchior, born at the same time as the mighty hero of Nyx's Nightfall. While both were given the same power, Hecate was able to push his phantom to full power, while Melchior was reduced to nothing. He was seen as the evil brother and was pout down, but due to Hecate's kind nature, he was spared from death.

Melchior walked away, away from people and away from life. As he stood still waiting to die he heard a voice.

{Do you believe this world is unfair?}

"..."

{Do you believe that it should have been you, who would be givin the title that your brother took everything from you?}

"yes..."

{Then accept my proposal, and you will get your chance. A chance to curse his family generations, to curse his very existence.}

Melchior's eyes looked up as he realized the potential this could be giving,

"Yes... give me the strength... give it to me so that I can kill him with my own two hands!"

As a small container of crimson blood appears Melchior drinks it without hesitation.

{You are no longer just a human. You are one of Nyx's Children, blessed with power beyond imagination. Now go and wreak havoc on those who denied your existence...}

So there and then, He went around the world claiming to be a prophecy of Nyx, as he "heals" others with his weird magic. Malchior enjoy's peoples suffering after giving them their potion. Yet Melchior is a cunningman, as he only believes in himself and doesn't want others to follow him. This personally was always sort of twisted, but now he was killing others without a second thought.

One of Melchior's famous stories comes from the Hero and the Three Sisters. As he was the dark mage that gave the hero an edge to fight against the three monster sisters. Although the ending about Nyx being angered was mostly a lie. As the truth was the hero decayed to death as he was cursed for using the three items gifted by Melchior. Although the story was made up by Vesh, the character of that seer was real. As Melchior was the one who gifted the sisters of their power.

Melchior also met with the first king of Nacht. As he would guide him, but in the end he would curse the king. And he met his demise by the hands of Melchior. Once he was done traveling the world he settled in on one of the islands and watched over the lands, and the cursed family.

Melchior was known as [Arcane Mage].
