Reminisce 1: Hyde's Upbringing

The seasons in Eilif Kingdom were always beautiful. On occasion snow would fall, as the kingdom held celebrations, or another we're beautiful leaves would grow on trees. The Kingdom of Immortal, people thought it would never be in ruins. In this kingdom lived a small orphanage. A kid named Hyde existed, with a younger Lucy behind him. In front of Hyde was the orphanage teacher,

"Hyde! Did you steal their toy again?"

Hyde looked away, "No I didn't..."

"Come on, give them the toy back..."

Hyde shouts, "But why do they get rich things? Ms. Roth, why do they get to prance around showing off their rich toy's..."

Mrs. Roth smiled, "Because they are different, they are children of aristocrats and nobles. I know they can be annoying, but if the news goes out... You'll be executed by the order of the king."

"Ex-executed?!"

"Yeah so let me bring it back to them... That's alright right?"

Hyde relentantly sighs as he gives Ms. Roth the toy, "It's not fair..."

Ms. Roth smiled as she patted Hyde's head, "Life is unfair Hyde, but I don't want you to feel the despair. Grow up to have hope yeah? Can you promise me that?"

Hyde nods silently, "Yeah..."

But unfortunately tragedy struck on Eilif Kingdom, the neighboring kingdoms have created a secret alliance. As the knights in Eilif were known to be a powerful kingdom, they held the blood of vampires. A myth, or so people thought. In truth, the blood of a vampire was being tested on children... In truth the orphanage Hyde went along was that experiment ground. Ms. Roith never knew... and the reason why Lucy had some features of a vampire. But Hyde was fully compatible and was tested... But on the night where Hyde became a half vampire was when the invasion of the kingdom happend. One of the first casualties was the orphanage.

Hyde runs over, "Ms. ROTH!"

Ms. Roth hugs Hyde as she was bleeding, behind her was the orphanage destroyed with multiple children dead laying down on the ground,

"It's ok..."

"Ms. Roth... don't leave me... Don't leave me!"

Ms. Roth took care of Hyde, she was more of a mother to him then anyone. As ms. Roth patted Hyde's head,

"I'm glad you're safe... Hyde, you can eat tonight, and you can eat tomorrow,,, Even in this not particularly good situation... Hyde, you are without a doubt... The most wonderful person I've ever met, in my life. So stand proud Hyde, to your survival..."

Ms. Roth moves her arm slowly as she wipes Hyde's tears.

"No... NO!"

Ms. Roth's body suddenly became cold as her arms dropped down. as the flames burn through the entire city. Knights from different nations march into the city... But what they didn't know was that a vampire was angered, sad, confused, shocked... That's when the world froze for Hyde, as he heard a voice.

{Do you want true power?}

Hyde looked up, "Who..."

{I am the god of this world, I can grant you the wish you need. Give them your wish...}

"But why me? Why..."

{You have led an unfortunate life, and unfortunate fate, a destiny you could not avoid... Something that not even I can change... So I am giving you a chance}

Hyde wipes off his tears as if he was holding them back, "I want to take revenge... Revenge on the people who took away my... Took away Ms. Roth!"

{Then I shall grant you that wish, drink this blood... You will gain power unimaginable, a power that can change your fate}

It was a weird container that appeared in front of Hyde... Hyde grabs it and drinks it. The drink was crimson blood, and once Hyde finished drinking it his eyes turned crimson as well... His body shone a sinister dark aura... Hyde didn't feel any particularly stronger... But the power within was immense. The mysterious voice echoed again.

{The power within you is Nyx's blood, the blood of a vampire. With this, you shall have the strength to exact your revenge}

Hyde looked up at the sky as rain continued to fall, the burning flames of the orphanage... fueled his flame of revenge.

{You are no longer just a human. You are one of Nyx's Children, blessed with power beyond imagination. Now go, and let your enemies feel the wrath of your newfound strength}

That's when one of the enemy knights spotted Hyde, "Hey! That child is still standing!"

Another knight shouts, "Kill him! No one from Eilif shall live!"

Multiple knights were surrounding Hyde, but Hyde turned around as they stabbed his body. Yet Hyde didn't feel any pain... In fact, he felt the urge to kill... He placed his palm on two of the knights' faces, as their heads exploded as the blood from within their bodies exploded outwards killing them.

The knight who ordered then took a step back, "What is... what is this!"

Hyde walks closer as he rips the face off of the knight, "Revenge..."

That night sparked the end of, not just the kingdom... But the rival nations. The myth about a rampaging Vampire. The entire continent was reduced to nothingness... Hyde after gaining Nyx's Blood also gained eternal life... As after his revenge he went into hiding within the ruins... During those times he hid himself as a normal human he entered a dojo at a nearby nation. While he wasn't prominent he did his best to learn. But later the dojo was destroyed by Chigou and Hyde only went back into hiding.

As the name suggests, Eilif was truly immortal... A couple hundred years later a small village was blooming. Known as the village of Eilif. Back then Hyde was known as Vlad and made good relations with others. People thought of him as an aristocrat as he lived in a castle, but that castle was nothing more than the past castle of the old kingdom. Bran Castle, it was also cursed by Nyx, as it will consistently construct itself when destroyed. Eventually the village became a city and was known for its royal parties. Vlad wasn't scared of being called a vampire, people generally seem to not care much... But there were a bunch who didn't like this... They would spread misinformation to neighboring nations.

Not long after... Papers started to be thrown, rumors started to spread. Somehow, the neighboring nations found out about the hundreds of years old research about Vampires. As more and more people started to cause false rumors. Such as he would suck the blood out of you if you get him angered, nor that Bran Castle is filled with dead bodies that Vlad was collecting. Vlad/Hyde wanted nothing more than someone to get him, someone to be friends with. But the villagers casted Vlad out of Eilif City... But soon after he was chased out, the nations found this as an opportunity... They knew how vicious and dangerous vampires were and spread false information to chase him out. Hyde would later come back and kill the neighboring nations... But in the end, the same as before... No one remained other than Hyde.

The continent then grew smaller and smaller in size, enough to be called an island. Hyde didn't allow any humans to come across this land as it is filled with the mistakes Hyde made during those years. After these events Hyde would conceal his identity and travel to different continents, he would make friends with a wandering blacksmith who was called the Reincarnation of Nyx, as he was executed once people found out who he was. This was when he truly started to doubt Nyx, Nyx did give Hyde power... But the world outside was truly cursed with Nyx... he started to question Nyx, and seek out the truth, whether to trust her or not. As time goes on he deduces that Nyx is indeed not the deity ew knew that gave him power, but an evil deity that destroyed the world of Nox.

At this point most people knew him as Hydoh, but a lot of times he would be known as the [Bloodless Dracula].
