Side Story (Leo): Nachts Liberation

It's been a week or so, the place has become more and more liberated, We've planned these details out. Synergia would spy on the Battalion that gathered in Metro, while the Royal Knights and Magic Soldiers away for their call for us to attack. Which is why we were all in Thundis Village, waiting for us to strike.

Will walks up to me, "Leo, are you sure you are alright? You're sweating quite a lot..."

"I'm fine..."

I'm worried, I've fought against Skyler before, the leader of the Seventh Battalion, she gave me severe damage before I could even attack. NO, this time the Magic Soldiers are helping us... That's when my Lambda rings,

"Hello?" I picked up my Lambda...

"We are ready..."

It was Lance's voice... I guess it's time...

"We'll be in position soon." Lulu was also connected.

As we all walk toward metro City's left gate... I remembered the briefing we had a couple of nights ago.

[A couple of Nights ago]

"This is the full map of Metro City." said Hazel speaking in Lance's Lambda.

Hazel continued, "Leo, I want you to lead and block the left gate, while Lulu I want you to block the right gate. Most of Synergia will be already within Metro City, evacuating citizens. Once the area is clear... We will all strike them without hesitation!"

Lulu asks, "What's going to happen, what is the endgame here?"

Xander takes over, "From what we see afar, they seem to have patrolled battalions. Send in units, as a front, if they defeat them we move on, if they are defeated we send in the units stationed to be deployed. No need to waste time trying to strategically battle our way out of this, we have the advantage of cornering them."

Will pushes his glasses, "Mister Xander, I respect your opinions... but I believe we do need a strategic plan."

Lulu asks, "Then what?"

Will points to the map, "Metro City is divided into three sections, the high streets, the mid streets and the bottom streets. The High streets are the one with shops like weaponry, or marketplace, as well as a place for the government building. The Mid street being mostly an area for the citizens to live in, and the bottom streets have the port."

"So?"

Will smiled, "I still respect your idea Mister Xander, so will do that. We will group ourselves in multiple units. But this time assigning them to certain streets, or merging one if the other is struggling. We will create a perfect wall that pushes them further into a corner."

Xander responded, "I see, I do quite like the plan."

Will continues, "But, what they don't account for is a special place."

"A special place?"

"The former underground created by Diavolo!"

"The underground?!"

Will nods, "It's still there, right Mayor?"

Behind us was Mayor Rouge and her assistant Gwen, "The place was untouched after our initial revamp, well... it was blocked off."

"We'll have a secret unit, whose purpose is to ambush the most powerful person in that place... The 7th Battalion Captain, Skyler Rutherford the [Queen of Assassin]."

Hazel asks, "Then, who's going to be in this special unit?"

Will smirked and turned towards me, "Leo, Lulu, and the Intelligence Division."
