Chapter 27 (Hyde): Clouds of Stars

I flew up as Jasper shouts,

"HYYYYDDDEEE! Do you see any monsters!"

"None that I can see."

Jasper is an interesting one, I respect him to a degree of his intelligence when it comes to research and history... And I heard others talk about how he is too reckless, but all I can see is someone who is too scared to even row his boat... But I don't like to judge people.

I jumped down to the boat and sat down, "Jasper, let me help row."

"Thanks Hyde, whew. You're a really nice guy huh."

"I will try my best."

I have to be wary, we are heading to Celestial Island... That's where Kyma lives... She is far too weird, but isn't evil... As long as her research doesn't get in her ways of an alliance we should be fine.

Jasper sighed, "Maybe I shouldn't have come, what if I get eaten by giant sea leviathan!"

What is he worrying about?

"Don't worry, that is why August assigned me to be partnered up with you."

"HYDE, thank you!"

This could get a little annoying... but nothing as annoying as Lucy. We arrived on Celestial Island. I know where Kyma's research Lab is, so I direct our way there. Kyma likes to watch the night sky, so the best place to watch the sky is at the highest point in the island... I grabbed Jasper and flew our way up once we made it to dock.

Jasper looked around, "Ack, we're so high up!"

"Stop moving too much please."

"So-sorry."

This is going to be a long journey isn't it...

When we arrived, Kyma research laboratory, she detests Vanaboa's Flask lab, so her lab looks similar to a bottle instead. When I knocked on the door there was no reply... Damn, is she asleep? Sorry but we are kind of in a hurry!

I aimed my finger at the door, "1st Form: Gazini!"

As blood shoots out and destroy the door with a loud bang,

"AHHH! Who the hell is destroying my place! Nooooo! My previous notes!"

A girl with long blue hair runs up along as I walk forward,

"Hey Kyma—"

She smacks my face, "Hydoh! How dare you–"

"Listen to me."

Kyma sits down, "Geez, why are you even here. I thought I told everyone not to–"

I shouted, "Kyma! We are in a dire situation... Have any Nox Government agents been around here?"

"Who?"

"Any bandits or anyone, there are people trying to kill you to steal the key."

"Hmm... yeah there were some people I saw... They had these weird emblems on them... Of course they can't find my place so I just ignored them."

"Ignore them? Ugh, Jasper.. Let's hurry up and get rid of them."

Jasper wasn't listening, "Wow! These are notes about the historical geography of this island?!"

Kyma jumped up and down, "See!?

I sighed, "I guess we can wait."

As I wait for Jasper and Kyma to finish talking... I sat down and closed my eyes... We Nyx's Children don't need sleep... But there are times where your body can shut down when you haven't taken care of yourself...
