[While Drinking with Rangan]

Rangan invited me for a drink alone... While I was hesitant at first... I need to get more information...

"You don't understand! The Nox Government never listens to me!" Rangan shouted in a drunken manner.

"I understand you Rangan, I do!" I pat his shoulder as I shed a single tear... this is awesome! I can trick his emotions to make him trust me more!

Rangan also started to cry, "There is so much responsibility as a king!"

"I feel the same way as an emperor!" Although... I haven't done anything to be deemed troublesome.

Rangan then smacked the table, "Damn it! If it wasn't for Vesh and Vadim leaving..."

Vesh? Vadim? While I previously drank non alcoholic drinks... it made my head spin to know this knowledge. Rangan whispers,

"I wished for all three of us to be friends..."

The next night arrives as Rangan seems like he doesn't remember much, and we split up just like we planned. As we ride our carriage Rayth asks,

"How are we planning on taking Paka-Paka?"

"Hm... From Rangan's notes... Paka-Paka is really reserved... It's known that he has a phantom but... anyone he faced wasn't strong enough for him to use it. He's also very strong with his staff."

Kanon looks out the window, "I've seen Paka-Paka before... I haven't personally fought him... But from what I heard from others, he doesn't kill his opponents... and only kills when being ordered to."

I take a deep sigh, "Well for now... Let's work on figuring out what his phantom is before we rush in to fight him."
