1994
Maryanne's POV
I had just finished my last gig of 1994, feeling a mixture of emotions I started to pack up my guitar and main equipment all the while having noticed a swarm of fans excitedly shuffling out of the entrance but just passed it off as a successful show and happy fans. I then greeted some fans who had hung back headed outside for some fresh air.
Taking a moment to gather my thoughts and reflect on how the show had gone, I realised that something big was going to have to happen if I was going to make any major market impact. I'd have to discuss it with my newly found manager who I'd been with now for 4 months after a big shake up was needed.
Leaning against a wall to the side I looked up at the sky which was now illuminated with stars, always a beautiful sight, but tonight even more so reminding me of how grateful I am to be where I am, with good health, and at 30 years of age fully thriving in passion I'd so badly wanted to succeed in and share with others. But I needed something more that could give me the big break...I counted silent blessing and pushed off the wall.
Jumping into an über I sat back and thought about my next plan of action but also a nagging thought in the back of my mind was saying I'd probably need a miracle. Little did I know however that a blessing in disguise had descended upon me.
