Damon's POV
Over the next few months, we pretty much carried on as normal with our routines and catching up with family over phone and video calls. The Blur guys and I were itching to get back into the studio together, but for now had to make do with sending each other bits back and forth. Mare however had gotten properly stuck into country life taking a leaf out of Alex' book (pardon the pun), but she actually did read his book 'A Bit of a Blur' and 'All Cheeses Great and Small'! He was flattered when I mentioned it to him, as he'd always had a soft spot for Mare.
Once lockdown measures were lifted I wanted to get them all down here and we could work in the studio, there was more than enough room for everyone.
There were moments when I could tell we were struggling, not really with being together that had never been an issue, but more frustrations in not being able to get out and do things. But that was felt worldwide I'm sure. We were lucky to have the space and facilities to always have something to do and have alone time if we needed to.

Maryannes POV

Every day I'd see Dame checking online to see what COVID updates there were, but otherwise he'd have a routine of getting up 6am and checking the news, then a couple hours holed up in the studio and discussing with the guys on video call, then 5pm onwards family time and unwinding with us all.
I was currently prepping dinner when I felt arms wrap around me from behind and sighed revelling in the warmth that blanketed over me... "mmm that smells nice what are you whipping together?" Damon says as his warm breath hits the side of my neck before kissing me hard on the cheek. "Just a simple lasagne and I found some white wine in the cellar which is great", I replied smiling up at him. "Nothing you do is simple, and I love you for that", he smiled softly.
"Thank you for everything you do", he smiled with a sly smile appearing on his face. "I'll leave you to it, let me know if you need any help...I'll be with the kids in the TV room," he walks past smacking my bum.
"Eww gross, just why??" Marley cringed as she passed me to go into the kitchen. "Marley hun come to the dining room dinner is ready in 5 minutes," I said diverting away from her cringe encounter.

Damon's POV

Sitting at the top of the table around and none of the kids were attempting to make any conversation, so taking a sip from my glass of wine I decided I'd start... "the boys and I were discussing what we could do after lockdown or something we can start organising once things settle down to some sort of normality... possibly putting out a new album with everything we've begun putting together so far and then some shows and Coachella?" For some reason my chat was met with a moments silence where Mare looked up in surprise and put her knife and fork down. "Oh wow, all that sounds bloody fantastic, getting back out there with the boys," she gave the biggest smile Damon had seen in a while. "That will be well cool, at Coachella as well..."
"Yeah it's fine for me to become cool dad again eh," I laughed poking fun at the kids and saw them actually looking excited for me rather than taking the piss. "I'm really glad you suggested that dad to be honest, it'll be fun to see you with the Blur uncles again," Alex smiled giving a smile of approval.
We all raised a glass of wine, "to post-lockdown plans," and we clinked our glasses together.
