3 - Do we agree?

Damon's POV

I was trying my damn hardest to explain to the rest of the band and management that Maryanne would be the perfect support act, magnificent stage presence, engaging and not too bad on the eye either (there was a grunt of humour at the mention of her appearance followed by a 'thought that might be a reason' from Alex the git so looked back at him with a haha sarcastic look on my face)...what more could an audience want? But overall, based on what I'd heard she is a solid song-writer too.

I knew it would take a bit more convincing, so I said "she actually has another show tomorrow night, I reckon we all go down there and check it out so you guys can see, because she has IT, I promise you...". I released the grip I had on my water bottle that was in hand not realising I was anxious at getting my point across that what Dave and I saw last night was quality. Why was I feeling so desperate to get them to agree that it was affecting me in this way?

"Alright mate, we'll all go to the show tomorrow and witness this vision that you've so vividly described to us and has obviously got your pants in a twist over", management Andy laughed and walked past me patting me on my back, the others agreeing too. I let out a deep breath and said to the guys with a knowing smirk who had still remained seated, "You won't be disappointed, when have I ever been wrong eh?"
