I was quite as I walked through the city thinking of my results. I know I wasn't ment to talk about my results with anyone. I sat on the hill waiting for my brother as he finished his test. He went in before me, but I know Peter. Even if he is a dick at time, he always waits for me. As expected Peter walked out running his hand through his hair. He had a stressed look on his face. I gave him a worried look.

"Everything ok?"

He gave me a smile.

"Yeah, just...took longer then I thought. What did you get?"

I gave him a knowing smile.

"What did you get?"

He laughed and winked.

"What we all expected."

I rose a brow at his indirect answer. Dauntless. He got Dauntless. I smiled at him.

"Me too."

He smiled letting out a breath bringing me into a hug.

"Thank God."

I laughed hugging him back.

"Wehre you worried, Pete."

"More then I care to admit to."

I gave him a squeeze before detaching myself from him.

"Let's go home. Mom said she was making our favorite tonight."

Peter smiled down at me.

"Shrimp Alfredo!"

I laughed as he started to run ahead to get back to the Candar Faction. I have never seen him so excited to go home. I chased after him laughing at his childish action. When I caught up to him I gave him a shove.

"Race you!"

He laughed and picked up his pace to catch me. We weaved ourselves through the crowds laughing. Peter gave me a shove knocking me off balance.

"Hey!"

I picked up my speed to recatch up but he was already in front of our faction, hands on his knees catching his breath. I took in my own gulps of air as I sent a playful glare towards him.

"You cheat."

He alaughed.

"Says the one who pushed me first."

I laugh again working on slowing my heart rate down as it hammered against my ribcage.

"Hey you two! How was testing?"

I look up the stairs at Albert who was grinning from the top of the stairs.

"It went well, how about you Al?"

He shrugged.

"Alright. Not what I was expecting."

I smiled.

"Seems to be a trend this year with the testing."

Al rose a brow my way.

"Didn't get what was expected either? I though you were an Amity."

I shrugged.

"I guess you will have to find out tomorrow."

Al smiled.

"Or you and jack ass can come to the party tonight in the halls. We are all getting together one last time to celebrate."

I smiled.

"I think I will pass."

I elbowed my brother in the side making him glare my way.

"We will be there. What time?"

"11. See you around, Sky."

I gave a wave. Peter elbowed me back.

"Why do you hang out with that looser?"

I rose a brow.

"Why do you hang out with Molly? She is always a bitch?"

Peter rolled her eyes.

"She isn't a bitch she is just mean to you."

I lscuff.

"More the reason for you not to be around her."

He smiled.

"You are just jealous she takes my attention away from you."

I scuff.

"Yeah says the man with one friend to my gazillion."

He shrugged.

"Not my fault that everyone likes you. Little miss sunshine."

I roll myeyes.

"Little miss sunshine, isn't always a sunshine or do I need to kick your ass to prove that?"

Peter started making his way up the front steps.

"No. No you really don't have to do that."

I laugh and follow him up through the large doors of Candor. White flooded our vision making me cringe at the collor more. I looked down at my attire hating everything about it but there was no point in change as it was already 5:00. Testing was an all day process, between the lectures and the amount of lines you end up waiting in to get tested in the first place. I was silent as we climbed the stairs to the apartment. As normal the apartment was quiet other then my mother cooking. We had to kick off our shoes, remove our coats and neatly hang them by the door. Peter put the key in the small dish on the desk holding our father's memorial photo and our family photos all of us dress in white at different events. At different stages of our lives. There was even one from when we were younger and I was actually taller then Peter. That all went away after middle school though when I stopped growing at 5'5" and Peter kept going to an impressive 6'1". He never let me down on my lack of height even if I was average. I just made sure to remember that even though I am shorter than he is, I am quick and strong enough to kick his butt. I have a feeling I will get to remind him of that soon enough. I smile as my brother goes hugging our mother as she sets the table. She kisses his forehead. She smiled at me and ushers me over to the kitchen to set up. I forced a smile as this was going to be my last meal with her. That this apartment would be empty. My brother and I were the last of our family and both of us would be moving to a different faction. I almost felt guilty.
