The next day was shooting. On the roof was targets and guns for us to use all stored in a cabnet. After Four explained how to use the gun her had us lay across the gravel covered roof and shoot at the orange targets stationed on the other end. I was curently laying beside my brother but rather then shooting I was distracted by the view of the city. My flyaways were wipping in my face.
"Something on your mind Amity?"
I looked over my shoulder where Eric was standing arms crossed watching me carefully at the end of my feet.
"No."
"Then do you just suck at shooting?"
I rose a brow at the leader.
"Sir?"
He nodded to my target.
"I see no holes from bullets, so either you are fucking around or you suck."
I let out a sigh turning from him. I looked at the other end, bring the gun into position. I closed one eye, using the scope. I pulled the trigger making the gun jump slamming against my shoulder. The bullet hit the right side of the orange chest. A kill shot to say the least. I turned back to the Leader.
"I was enjoying my view. Happy I shot one now?"
He kicked my feet.
"Keep your head on streate Initiate or someone will do it for you."
I rolled my eyes. Refocusing on the target. An emotion I haven't felt in a while bubbled inside me. It was either anger or frustration, maybe a mix of both. At least I could hit the target, there were others that were missing no matter what they adjusted. Why focus on me? I let out a growl before shooting the rest of my round. Not a single shot missed. I stood empty gun in hand. I shoved the weapon in the next person's hand not caring if they were offended by my force of handing off the weapon.
"Initiate!"
I stopped turned to look at Eric.
"Where do you think you are going?"
I place my hand on my hips.
"To the fighting rings where we are meeting for our run."
He smiled falsly at me again.
"No, you enjoy running too much. You are going climbing."
I rose a brow.
"Climbing? You think that is a punishment."
His smile dropped.
"Fighting?"
I shook my head.
"Nice try, leader sir, I am going to go with the others."
"Initiate!"
I turned to him, arms crossed.
"What?"
He rose a brow at me.
"What? You got a mouth on you."
I smiled.
"Why yes I do, thank you for noticing."
He flared his nostrals at me. This dick.
"You are climbing today. And you will not be done with climbing until your hands are bleeding do you understand me."
I pursed my lips.
"Crystal."
I didn't move and he rose a brow at me.
"You are done, like you said, you should get started as you will also not be done, until everyone else is done with their run."
I rolled my eyes.
