I ended up staying over at Erics. He lent me a T-shirt of his and some boxers making me blush lightly. He took the couch for the night. Well for most of the night. In normal, Skylar fashion I ended up waking up in the middle of the night which he came running to the room to make sure I was ok. He then held me until I fell asleep which leads me to my current predicament. I was awake cuddled in Eric's arms, but he was still asleep and I didn't have the heart to move. He was so peaceful, eyes shut. Chest slowly rising and falling. I smiled up at him.
"Morning."
His deep voice shocked me.
"Did I wake you?"
He chuckled lightly.
"No."
I laughed at him.
"And you didn't say anything!?"
He laughed as I got up out of his arms.
"I can't believe I stayed like that terrified of moving in case I woke you."
He smirked over at me.
"I was quite enjoying it."
I rolled my eyes getting out of bed grabbing the clothes I neatly folded on the dresser at the foot of the bed. I looked at the clothes cringing a little.
"I have a sweater you can borrow for the day."
I looked over my shoulder slipping my jeans on. Luckily the shirt he lent me went down to my mid thigh covering the underwear I was wearing.
"You do know, if you give me a sweater, you will not be getting it back."
He got up going to his closet pulling a plain black hoody with the sleeves cut off. He threw it at me. I caught it looking at it with a raised brow. He smiled at me.
"I figured as much."
I pointed to the missing sleeves.
"Did you have something against the sleeves?"
He laughed running his fingers through his messy locks.
"No, They got slashed with a knife so I cut them off so I could still wear it."
I took the shirt off leaving me in a sports bra. I slipped the sweattank over my head. I found Eric stearing at me with a cheeky grin. I rose a brow as I bent down, folding the clothes he loaned me.
"What?"
His grin grew.
"You are beautiful."
I felt heat rush to my face.
"Only sometimes."
I ran my fingers through my tangled locks throwing it behind me hoping it was somewhat tamed. He walked towards me wrapping his arms around me.
"Always."
I smiled a bit looking up at him. He was already looking down at me.
"You should head down to breakfast. Your friends are probably wondering where you are and we don't need Peter storming the faction looking for you."
I laugh at him. I get on my tip toes kissing his lips lightly.
"I will see you down there."
He nodded letting me go. I slid on my tennies before taking my clothes sneaking down to the dorms. I saw no one was in there so I slid my clothes under my cot before finding my way to the dining. Hall I scanned the area looking for a familiar face. I couldn't catch sight of my brother making me frown slightly. But I saw Tris making me smiled. I sat across from the girl. She was curled in on her self. Christina was looking at her like she had asked her a question. I looked between the two curious and confused by the whole thing. Al came up behind us, tapping Tris on the shoulder, scaring the poor girl. She jumped in her seat, turning to the boy. I saw her face morph into one of anger. I looked at Christina for an explanation but she shrugged her shoulders at me.
