Tris and I found great amusement in the screaming as people fell from the roof. Once everyone made it down we were all in one large group by the net we just landed on. Peter once again found his way next to me. My brother kept on glaring at those that got too close to me making me shake my head at him. I sent apologetic smiles to those he was a butt to and glared at those that actually deserved it but that number was quite lower.
"Alright, Dauntless born go with Lauren, transfers stay with me."
A women with dark black hair waved the Dauntless born from the group leaving us with the man that got us from the mat. I crosse my arms waiting for him to speak. He looked over the group. Not really letting his eyes linger on anyone.
"Most of the time, I work in Intelligents, but during your training, I will be your instructor."
I let out a groan.
"Great we have brudding 101 as a teacher."
Peter let out a snicker but luckily our instructor didn't hear us just glared at my brother for making noise.
"My name is Four."
Tia scuffed from the other side of my brother.
"Four like the number"
Four nodded at my friend.
"Exactly like the number."
Tia looked to her feet before meeting Four's gaze.
"What happened? One through three were taken?"
I snickered at her comment. Four smiled finding it amusing but the tightening of his jaw said other wise.
"What's your name?"
"Christina."
Four took a few steps toward my friend in an intimidating factor making my friend shrink back lightly.
"Well, Christina. The first lesson you learn from me. If you want to survive here is keep your mouth shut."
I gulped biting my lip not liking this situation one bit.
"And you...Learn to stifle a laugh. Do you two understand me?"
I shrunk under his gaze. Peter met his glare not liking how he was glaring at me. Four took a few steps back from the group only after he hear Tia say yes quietly. I wasn't saying a word as laughing is not a crime. He started walking away no words exchanged. He looked over his shoulder like he remember we were a group of kids with no idea where we were or what to do.
"Follow me."
I looked at my brother.
"I think he is on his man period."
Peter glared down at me.
"Did you not learn anything?"
I shrugged.
"Never stopped us from having side comments before."
"We are not in Candor anymore, Sky. Side Comments can get us hurt here."
I rolled my eyes. I moved forward following the brooding man.
"Scared?"
I didn't let Peter respond as we went down the hall way to grated stairs and platform. Concrete and dim lights was what met us in the Dauntless center. Our footsteps echoed around us everywhere we went and no where was really quiet. We went down more halls until we cam eto a large opening. Below us was a group of people partying. Voices and cheering meeted our ears. We looked over the edge to get a view of where all the noise was coming from.
