My eyes fluttered open finding myself on my back with monitors hooked up to me. I felt soar and exhausted even more so then when I get my blood taken. I sinced as I sat up grabing my neck as a sharp pain ran down my spine.
"Wow, easy there. You were out for a few day."
I looked up at the women in blue clear worry in my features.
"A few days? What do you mean a few day?"
"Spinal Fluid drainage is more taxing and we took more then we should have after you passed out but we didn't know when exactly you lost consciousness."
Worry spiked in me and the heart monitored showed my heart rate picking up.
"What does this mean for my training? They could deduct me points for this, make me go factionless. Do you all know what you just did!?"
"Skylar, please calm down, I made Max aware of what was going on, your position in Dauntless is quite safe. I assure you of this."
"Your assurance does me crap. I am behind on training which hurts the others."
Jeanine narrowed her eyes at me.
"I will not be spoken to this way. You will be sent back to training once you are recovered. Last thing we need is you loosing consciousness while in training."
I narrow my eyes.
"You just don't want others to know about my PTSD."
"No I don't want others to know what your blood and spinal fluid can do."
I shook my head.
"And you think, me being taken out of the dorms, in front of everyone and being gone for two days is not going to make people question things."
"They were all informed that you were going through a more intense training to further push you as fighting seems to be easy for you."
I rolled my eyes.
"Max said treatment in front of everyone. They are going to know that is a load."
Jeanine slammed her hand on the nearby table expressing her frustration. She was use to my banter with her and smart comment but she didn't like it when I did it in front of her people.
"Skylar, you need to trust me. If someone questions you go to the leaders, they will take care of it if you can't handle it on your own. I know you are good at avoiding."
I swung my legs to the side removing the IV and heart monitor making the machine beep loudly.
"I am going back to training."
I stood swaying lightly wincing at the pain that seemed to rush through me.
"You may be too unstable to train, Sky."
I glared at the blonde women.
"So I will deal with it. I am going back to training."
I stalked out of the room through the automatic doors making my way through the Pit. I had no idea what time it was, nor did I care. I heard loud bangs echo from the hall. When I entered the room I found the others in front of targets with knife belts strapped around their chests. Of course I come back on a day we are throwing things and need full function.
"Amity! How nice of you to join us."
The room seem to freeze all noise stoping as they turned their attention on me. My brother was the first to move. He stopped in front of my stiff figure. I knew I looked tired.
"What did they do this time?"
I shook my head.
"Skylar, you ok? You look a bit worse for wear."
