I made my way down to the dorms. I noticed Tris glaring daggors at my brother then storming out. I looked at my brother confused of what he did. I grabbed Tris's arm stopping her.
"Let go of me."
"Tris, what did Peter do?"
"Like you don't know. First you lie to me, then your brother pulls that stunt. Just leave me alone."
I looked at her confused as she stormed out. I looked at Tia for help. She had her arms crossed and was glaring in my direction too. I looked to Al and Will too. Tia started forward, two boys in tow. I moved so I was in the way of them.
"What did he do?"
Tia crossed her arms.
"Move. We are going to catch up with our friend."
I rose a brow.
"You all are my friend too, but I can't help if you don't tell me what happened."
Will let out a sigh making me shift my attention to him.
"Just...control your brother."
They moved around me to follow the upset girl. I turned back to the group narrowed eyes at my brother. He held his hands up.
"I just read an article."
I shook my head.
"What article, Peter?"
I walked towards him snatching the teleprompter from his hand I skimmed over the article, my eyes bunching up the more I read. I looked up at my brother.
"And you read this outloud?"
He shrugged in response. I shook my head.
"You are an ass. That was uncalled for. No wonder why they are all mad. Tris left because she didn't belong in Abnegation. Just as we didn't belong in Candor. She didn't leave because her parents beat her or her brother for that fact. They left because that is what the test told them to do."
Peter moved forward to grab the device from my hand.
"Oh no, no, no. You don't get this back. Actually..."
I threw it to the ground before stomping it under my foot.
"Hey! Hey! Skylar!"
I glared at my brother as anger took over his expression."Now you understand my thoughts exactly."
I turned away from him to walk away.
"Hey! I am not done talking with you."
I yanked my arm loose from his grasp.
"Oh but I am done talking with you."
I quickly walked out of the room trying to catch up with the departed group from earlier. I caught sight of the group paused at the intersection.
"Hey! Wait up!"
They didn't turn back as I caught up seeing the blonde women who greeted me earlier today paused infront of the group. She turned her focus to me.
"Skylar... good to see you back to your old self."
I forced a smile.
"Jeanine, always a pleasure, I imagine you have somewhere to be."
She also forced a pleasant smile on her face before walking forward. We all watched the group go into a heavily guarded room. Tia looked at Tris and I then back to the women.
"Well, that was weird."
I nodded. While Tris mumbled a yeah.
"Welcome to my normal."
