The Joyous laughter and adrenaline-filled screams of adults and children alike. Amusement parks were always full of sounds like that. And this one was no different. It was always excitable, no matter where you looked, someone was having fun. And this time, it was about Lucas and his friends.

Lucas was walking side-by-side with his friend, Ninten. Lucas was a boy about average in pretty much everything. If he had video game stats, he'd be an all around type of character. He's got blonde hair and blue eyes which always got him quite a lot of attention from girls and boys alike. He'd always try something with the girls, going on dates and whatnot, but there was always something that just didn't sit right inside of him.

Now Ninten, he was a much more simple boy. He was the type that never really hid his emotions. When someone talked to him, they knew they were talking to the real person who had no real hidden meanings behind his words. Or secrets. Or really anything. He always laid it right out on the table. Which always made it easy for people to be around him. He was a little taller than Lucas, as Lucas was the shortest of his little group. He had tanner skin with short black hair. He also always wore a red bandana around his neck. No matter the outfit, there was always that bandana.

Lucas looked up at one of the many bumpy roller coasters. What made this one stand out over the others was the large loop-de-loop. "God, I can't believe they wanted to go up there," he said as he aimlessly swirled his straw through his cup of Icee. Just then, the roller coaster's cart goes around the loop-de-loop.

"I know right? Gives me the shudders just looking at it," Ninten chimed in. Lucas hummed in approval knowing that on that cart was the other two of their group, Ness and Claus. He sipped on his Icee a little before he felt a slap to his chest. "Lucas, look." Lucas looked at Ninten to see him pointing at something. It was a Zoltar machine. "It's a fucking Zoltar!"

"Oh yeah, guess it is," Lucas said before taking another sip of his drink.

"Come on, let's go get our fortunes read," Ninten said as he tugged at Lucas's sleeve.

"Do we have to? You do know they're just phony anyway."

"Doesn't matter, I still wanna get my fortune." Lucas rolled his eyes as Ninten continued to tug at his shoulder. Lucas couldn't pretend any longer before he let out a soft laugh. Ninten was never afraid to act childish or to just be a bit immature. And Lucas found that admirable. Even though he never hid his true self, it was still refreshing to see someone so fearless in who they were.

"Ok ok, fine." Ninten dragged Lucas to the machine. Thankfully for then, no one else was at it.

"Wassup, Zoltar, how are you today?" Zoltar looked a bit weird, Lucas noticed. He looked less fake.

"Animatronics these days," he began as he crossed his arms, "Looks so realistic." He swore he even saw Zoltar's eyes bolt toward him, causing him to step back.

"Guess you're right. Who'da thunk they'd give Zoltar of all things an up-to-date animatronic, right?" Ninten shrugged before taking out a quarter and putting it into the machine. "I wanna know my fortune." Zoltar's robotic head shakily looked directly at Ninten. Zoltar had these piercing green eyes. Must've been a new addition to the robot, Lucas would think. As those green eyes even glowed a little bit.

"Ninten..." Zoltar began.

"Heh, guess they really updated them huh?" Ninten nudged Lucas.

"Yeah, facial recognition," Lucas pointed out.

"You...." Zoltar continued.

"Yeah yeah yeah?" Ninten asked, practically bouncing up and down.

"Will get good grades in school." Ninten froze in place.
