It's been about 3 months since the case involving the sniper. You have started using your leave and taking breaks between cases with approval from Hotch.
JJ walks through the front door to be surprised by dinner made on the table. "Honey, I'm home." She says to make sure you're away of her presence before you come from around the corner. "Hey, sorry. Sit down." She smiles as you point towards the chair to the side of you. Pulling it out, letting her sit down and then sliding her in.
"So, how was work?" Asking casually as you plate JJ's food. She smiles and tells you about her day at the office. "Just paperwork today, everyone was a bit off though. They all seemed distracted." She says bluntly before noticing a tremble in your hand. Look up at you and holding onto it.
"You ok, Y/N?" She smiles while keeping her eyes on you. You smile and nod before quietly saying, "Just tired." Wiping her off before grabbing your plate of food.
"I, uh, invited the team around for dinner tomorrow night. I've missed their company." Stuttering but getting your sentence out before nervously shoving food into your mouth.
Th rest of the night is quiet, as usual you and JJ cuddle in bed before passing out in each other's arms. "Oh, while I remember. The theme is formal white tomorrow night." JJ seems suspicious but nods before dozing off.

The next night, you are setting up outside while JJ and the team talk inside. Rossi opens the back door and walks over to you. "She's getting restless, you nearly ready?" He asks quietly so she doesn't hear before you finish the last decorations.
"Ross, I'm so nervous. You ready to officiate?" You smile nervously before Rossi places his hand on your arm and rubs it. "You'll be great kid, you've done well. She's still clueless."
You nod before standing in position, watching Rossi pull something out of his pocket before sending a text to Emily.
You: I'm ready. You ready?
Emily: Absolutely, I'll shoot a wink to Derek to
start the music. Out she comes.
You: Thanks Em.
Derek presses a button on the speaker before JJ turns to notice the decorations in the garden. Emily links arms with her while the rest of the team makes their way outside.
"JJ, welcome to your wedding." Emily smiles, trying to hide her excitement before starting to walk JJ through the back door. Tears form in both JJ and Emily's eyes.
"Y/N?" JJ confused as Emily walks her down to you. Rossi smiles as he's about to marry off some of his work children.
Words are shared, vows are passed and you and JJ share your first kiss as a married couple. "You sneaky little punk. I can't believe we just got married in my backyard." She whispers in your ear before pulling away.
"JJ, I would marry you anywhere. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and hopefully start a family." I nudge her, while turning to the team and walking to the table of food with JJ. Watching Derek switch the music track to something more upbeat, watching Garcia and Emily dancing while sipping on their fruity cocktails.
"God, I'm glad to now call you my wife. Hotch cleared us a few days off for our honeymoon. If that's what you want?" You say with a little hesitation in your face before JJ slaps your arm and says, "Where are we going? My parent's house?" She laughs, you expected her to say something along those lines.
"I was thinking Hawaii, but we can go visit your parents. I love your mums food." I say with a smile while taking in the fact I'm now married to Jennifer Jareau. Taking in my new life while watching Emily and Garcia getting drunk on the dance floor.
