I walked to my class for lessons. Ren sadly wouldn't be in my class. Her and Dynn needed to my level. So it was just me and Ez. I was happy about that. If I had been stuck with Dynn... It would end up with one of us dead.

Ez smiled when I walked in. He had heard about Ren and Dynn. "Is it true you got new room mates?" Ez asked. I saw a little worry in his eyes. He was scared I'd stop being his friend so I could be friends with people like me. I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Yes. Two of them. A creepy stalker named Dynn. He's probably a serial killer. And his sister Ren. She's cool. I'll introduce you to them later, if you want. But don't worry. Ren might be my friend, but so are you," I said. For some reason a dark shadow crossed his eyes when I called him my friend. I did know why. Maybe because I was a pathetic Experiment and he was a scientist. I wiped away the thought quickly. I wouldn't think like that. Ez was different.

"Yah, friend," Ez muttered darkly. I was going to ask what was wrong, but Cara walked in, and lessons started.

...

I arrived at training earlier than Ez, Ren, and Dynn. I was in my training clothes. A black tank top, and black shorts. I practiced my knife throws. I have perfect aim, but I prefer hand to hand, because it is more of a fair fight. Who am I kidding? When ever I fight it is the opposite of a fair fight! I'm just that good. I had to stop myself from bragging, because pride is a deadly weakness.

I went to the punching bag station next. I was working on my punches, and I murdered the bag. The sand inside came spilling out, and the rope the bag had been previously hanging from was dangling. Then I heard a voice from behind me.

"Did you have to kill the punching bag? It was so young and innocent!" I turned around to face... Dynn. It was quite a shock seeing him not glaring. And making jokes! His training clothes were a dark navy blue T-shirt, and black shorts.

"This punching bag is hardly innocent! It's been giving dirty looks since I got here. And young? This punching bag is that punching bag's great grandpa!" I said pointing at the new punching bag in the corner. Dynn smiled.

"Killing senior citizens?!  You are trouble!" Dynn said. I rolled my eyes. He doesn't know the meaning of trouble. I glared at him. Dynn realized what I was going to happen and stiffened. "I'm in big trouble now, aren't I? And I'm going to regret rightfully calling you trouble?" Dynn asked, already knowing the answer.

"Big-time," I said with a smug smile, "You. Me. Fighting. Mats. Now." I walked to the fighting mats. I might not look strong, but in a fight, if you underestimate me, that's your undoing. I got ready in my fighting stance. Dynn mirrored me.

"Get ready to cry, Dynn- er!" I taunted. I saw him try to hide his annoyance, but he was failing miserably. I gave him a sweet smile as I lunged towards his throat. "Don't be such a meanix, Phoenix!" Dynn said in response, jumping away just before I could grab him in a choke hold .

"Seriously? That's the best you've got?" I asked, "That's just pathetic! Both your taunts and your fighting skills! But I don't think anyone expects you to be good at anything!" I say this when Dynn tries to punch me in the gut. I grab his arm and pull him closer so that I can kick him in the shins. He falls on his knees. He tries to knock me of my feet. But I grab his shoulders, and kick both of my feet at his stomach. He can't stop me and he goes flying, until he slams into the ground. I land on my feet.

"I think you just broke my brother. As long as he doesn't talk anymore, I'll be happy," a voice behind me said. Dynn jumped up, looking extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable. I just beat him up in front of his little sister.

"I knew you were hardcore, but seriously! Wow!" Another voice said. I looked behind me, seeing Ez and Ren. They looked impressed. I bowed low. Dynn tried to tackle me at that point, but I dodged, and he fell on his face. I laughed. Both Ren and Ez clapped. I walked away from Dynn, to Ren and Ez.

"Ren, Ez, hey. Would you like me to teach you how to fight?" Ioffered. Ren and Ez looked a bit terrified by my offer. "Don't worry! I only destroyed Dynn because he was being annoying," I said, trying to be reassuring.

"How is that reassuring to me?!" Ren said. She walked over to me though, and I showed her the basics. She learned very quickly. I did warn her that if she tried to beat me in a fight, I'd hang her from the ceiling. She laughed and had a friendly argument about who would really be hanging from the ceiling if I tried. I smiled at her.

That's when I heard a voice behind me. "Would you like to practice with me Phoenix?" Ez asked hesitantly. I looked at Ren who nodded her head and walked over to Dynn, who was nursing his damaged pride. I smiled at Ez.

"Ready to be humiliated?" I said. We started practicing. I had to admit that he was good,  it he couldn't beat the master. I reached down to help him up. Ez grabbed my hand and pulled me down beside him.

"Ez! Your evil!" I said, slightly blushing. I didn't understand why I was blushing. But I saw Ez was slightly blushing too. "Yes, I'm evil, an evil genius!" Ez teased.

Just then Cara came. Ez and I jumped up. We smiled bashfully, and looked at the ground. Ren came up to me and elbowed my side, wiggling her eye brows. I stuck my tongue out at her. She silently laughed.

" Childish. Young. Immature. That sums up everything about you two," Dynn said meanly. I glared at him. It was time to speak my opinion about him.

"What's wrong with that?! I'd rather be childish, young, and immature than be like you! You are a jerk, an idiot, a snobby twerp, a bas,-" I start to say, but Cara clears her throat loudly. I continue to glare at him. He matches my glare. If looks could kill.

I turn away from him, and look at Cara. It's still the training part of the schedule, so there was no reason for Cara to be her. I tilted my head to the side, waiting for her to explain.

"13, 17A, 17B, I would like you to meet some people," Cara said. And with that we met Experiment 18 and Experiments 19A and 19B.
