It was early morning and there were no classes for Beatrice and Aiah, they stayed home.

"Good morning po, umalis po sila mommy ng maaga?" tanong ni Aiah sa isa nilang kasambahay.

"Ay oho, ma'am.. May pupuntahan daw po sila pero babalik din po agad."

Tumango lang si Aiah, hindi na ito nag-abala pang magtanong ng marami dahil babalik rin naman daw agad.

She made her tea at tumambay ulit sa garden dala-dala ang paborito niyang libro.

On the other hand, Irene is clueless kung saan sila pupunta, Greggy didn't say anything about running an errand early in the morning.

"Please don't tell me na pupunta tayo sakanya," Irene said, leaving Greggy quiet because what she's thinking is right all along.

Hindi na naka-hindi si Irene dahil dumating na sila sa bahay nila Beatrice.

Sinalubong sila ng isang kasambahay at agad na pinatuloy sa bahay ng mga Fortich's ng walang pag-aalinlangan.

Patricia and Sebastian guide the way to their office in the second floor of their house to have proper parental talk.

"Gregorio Araneta and this is my wife, Irene."

"Sebastian Fortich and my wife, Patricia."

They exchanged handshakes as they settled down, both of the women were quiet and Irene even wish to go home already. She doesn't want this, ayaw niya ng usapang tungkol sa ganitong pangyayari.

"Let's get straight to the point, Beatrice is already aware that we are not her biological parents which means she is well aware that you are her birth parents. Can you also say the same?" Sebastian informed them in a serious tone, pinipilit lang ni Irene ang sarili na hindi umiyak pero kinakabahan na ito sa ano man ang pwedeng kahinatnan ng pag-uusap na 'to.

"We haven't got the chance to tell this matter to Aiah pero sasabihin din namin agad-agad ngayon when we get back home.."

Greggy felt Irene's hands who caressed his arms, he glanced at her and saw a tear escaped from her eyes.

"Greggy.."

Her eyes was full of hurt, na para bang nagmamakaawa.

"So, are we going to switch them back?" Patricia broke her silence, "Because in our case, we want to know our birth daughter and I hope kayo din." she added.

"We are also willing to get to know Beatrice.." Greggy replied, Irene was just silent, she is already overthinking kung ano ang magiging reaksyon ni Aiah.

"But can we do it just temporary? Just give me back my Aiah.." sabi ni Irene, malumanay ang boses nito habang tahimik na umiiyak.

Hinawakan ni Greggy ang kamay ng asawa, trying to console her.

"I can't picture a life without her, I've been with her since her first few hours in this world. I watched her first steps, I love her so much.. I can't just, do this."

"We can't do that because if we're trying to make things right, susunod tayo kung ano sa tingin natin yung tama." Sebastian replied, na para bang lumalabas ang pagiging abogado.

"Irene, I know what you feel. Kasi nasanay din ako kay Beatrice but let us be with our daughter, hayaan mo rin kaming makasama siya.." sagot naman ni Patricia.

"I—I need to go.." sabi ni Irene, tumayo ito at lumabas ng silid. Hinabol siya ni Greggy at nakita nila ang isang dalagang nakikipaglaro sa aso neto.

"That's her, Irene. Siya ang anak natin."
