There was no change in the way Irene and Aiah treated each other, both were cold and great pretenders.

"Beatrice.." tawag ni Irene.

"Yes, mom?"

"I'm going out, gusto mo bang sumama?"

"No thanks po, I'll stay here.. I have something important to do pa,"

Hindi na ulit nagtanong si Irene at hinayaan nalang ang anak, umalis siya at pumunta sa bahay ng mga magulang niya.

It's been a week since the dinner with them kaya't naisipan niyang pumunta ulit, she's also hoping that Aiah might be there, guilt has been hunting her for the way she treated her.

Bumili ito ng prutas, cake, at flowers.

Sana hindi siya pangunahan ng hiya mamaya kapag nakaharap na niya ang anak.

Dumating si Irene sa mansion, surprising both her parents pero wala doon si Aiah. Hindi na siya nagtanong pa, she thought that she's here since it's her usual schedule to visit.

Inayos ni Irene ang mga dinala niya, nagpahain din naman agad ng pagkain si Imelda upang makakain din sila ng lunch.

"Nasaan si Beatrice? Bakit hindi mo kasama?" tanong ni Ferdinand.

"She has something to do daw po, kaya hindi ko na pinilit.."

"Oh, you choose this flavor huh.. This is Maraiah's favorite," sabi ni Imelda, tumingin naman si Ferdinand kay Irene.

"Para ba ito sakanya? Last week parang hindi kayo nagpapansinan ah.."

"Trying to make things right, dad. I thought she's here," sagot ni Irene.

"No she's not, I think she has errands to do din ata. But she won't let a week pass na hindi kami nagkikita," paliwanag ng ama, kilang-kilala niya si Aiah.

Hours passed, dumating si Imee sa bahay kasama si Lindtsey.

"Lolo, sumabay na po ako kay tita Imee. I went to her house and I'm going to stay there for days since malapit lang po yung pupuntahan ko sa house nila.." Aiah informed her grandfather, hindi nito napansin si Irene na nakatalikod habang tinitignan ang mga litrato.

"Irene, you're here.." sambit ni Imee, dun lamang napatingin si Aiah and she saw that Irene is already looking at her.

Dahan-dahang lumapit si Lindtsey kay Irene upang magmano, she was about to take her hands pero agad siyang niyakap ng ina.

It made her shocked, just a week passed, parang galit siya sa kanya and now she's back on her mother era again.

Aiah's heart soften but she remained stiff and quiet, she just rubbed Irene's back for comfort but other than that, wala na siyang ginawa.

"Excuse me po, I'll just go with tita.."

Umiwas si Aiah sakanya at pumunta kay Imee, nagpaalam itong magpapahinga muna sa kwarto.

"Why is Aiah going to stay in your house, Imee? 'yun lang ba talaga ang rason?" tanong ni Ferdinand sa panganay na anak.

"Wala daw si Tricia sa bahay nila for days, dad. Hindi ko din naman papayagan that she'll stay there only with that Sebastian and their kasambahay.." paliwanag ni Imee.

"Why? May nangyari ba?"

"You didn't know? I thought nasabi na 'to ni Aiah sayo five years ago.."

"No, wala naman siyang sinasabi.."

Paano nga naman sasabihin e you cut your ways to contact her, even blocked her.

"Pinagbuhatan siya ng kamay ng sarili niyang ama, ni Sebastian. Ever since it happened I filed a legal action and paper that articulates, I'm allowed to let Aiah stay in my premises if she wants to and if she's not comfortable in their house."
