The morning sun streamed brightly, rousing Sasuke from his slumber. Beside him, Sakura slept peacefully, adorned with marks on her neck. Sasuke admired her serene expression before rising, showering, and settling on the floor with a scroll from Sai. It contained grim details about a village ravaged by disease, leaving only five survivors who initiated a motel to attract aid.
"I see," Sasuke murmured, closing the scroll as Sakura stirred awake beside him. Still groggy, she greeted him with a sleepy smile.
"Ohayo, Sasuke-kun," Sakura mumbled, her voice drowsy.
Sasuke smiled in response. "Ohayo.. Are you alright?"
"My legs ache," Sakura confessed, rubbing them gently. Sasuke, sensing her discomfort, moved closer.
"Something on your mind?" he inquired softly, noting her flustered expression.
"D-Did we... um, last night?" Sakura blushed, embarrassed.
Sasuke's smile widened. "Yes," he confirmed, brushing her hair aside. "And not for the first time."
Blushing deeper, Sakura admitted, "I-I know, but... it felt different."
Teasingly, Sasuke replied, "Indeed. Twice before last night, remember?"
Sakura pouted, meeting his gaze.
"I never knew that the kakoee sasuke kun had such perverted side to him" sakura smiled teasingly at sasuke. Sasuke frowned back at sakura."Im joking anata" sakura chuckled softly.
"Where are you headed?" Sakura inquired, watching as Sasuke donned his cloak and retrieved his katana.
"Just checking something out," Sasuke replied vaguely, offering minimal explanation to Sakura.
"Alright, I'll stay here. Feeling exhausted," Sakura sighed, reclining on her back once more, her gaze fixed on the ceiling as Sasuke opened the door and departed.
As Sasuke heard Sumari's voice, he paused, recalling the scroll's account of only five villagers remaining, Sumari being one of them.
"Excuse me," Sasuke interjected, drawing Sumari's attention.
"Yes?" Sumari responded.
"I've heard about a devastating disease that has taken the lives of the villagers here. Is it true?" Sasuke inquired. Sumari's demeanor shifted, her expression becoming somber as she met Sasuke's gaze.
"Yes, it is," Sumari confirmed, then proceeded to provide detailed information about the outbreak. Sasuke listened intently.
"There are still five people afflicted with the disease in the warehouse," she continued, tears welling in her eyes. "Please, Sasuke-san, help us," she pleaded, bowing and beginning to cry.
"Don't worry, my girlfriend is a medic," Sasuke reassured her as he headed back to the motel. He gently knocked on the door. Sakura opened the door with a wide bright smile.
"Welcome back. How did it go?" Sakura greeted, holding the door wide open for Sasuke to enter.
"Apparently, this village has been struck by a disease," Sasuke began, removing his cloak and placing his katana in a corner.
"Sakura, could you look into it?" he requested.
"Of course," Sakura replied warmly.
"Sumari asked me to visit the ill villagers at 4 pm. You can come with me then," Sasuke suggested, taking a seat next to Sakura.
"How are your legs?" he inquired.
"I-I guess they're okay now," Sakura responded, still flustered.
"Oh, and one of the workers brought us some food," Sakura added, unveiling the feast hidden under a cover. Her eyes lit up with joy as the couple happily indulged in their lunch. Afterwards, they made their way to the warehouse where the ill villagers were housed.
Upon arrival, Sakura began her work, collecting blood samples from the patients. Using her chakra, she separated the blood cells from a foreign component—a virus. Carefully, she isolated the virus and analyzed it, eventually discovering a cure.
After treating the five villagers, Sakura prepared extra doses of the cure for their use and instructed Sumari on how to produce the medicine. Grateful, the villagers expressed their thanks as they returned to the motel. Sasuke admired Sakura's diligence, smiling warmly at her. However, on their way home, something unexpected occurred.
As they walked, Sakura suddenly felt overwhelming exhaustion wash over her, accompanied by intense sweating. Before Sasuke could inquire about her well-being, Sakura collapsed. Swiftly, Sasuke caught her and carried her to their room, where he attempted to rouse her with water.
"Sasuke-kun?" Sakura murmured weakly upon regaining consciousness.
"Are you okay? What happened?" Sasuke asked, his expression filled with concern.
"I... I think it's because of the work I did today that I fainted," Sakura replied, slowly sitting up with Sasuke's support.
"Are you sure?" Sasuke pressed, worry evident in his tone. "We can stay here for the week if you're not feeling well."
"No, I'm fine, Sasuke-kun," Sakura reassured him with a warm smile.
Sakura then decided to sleep to get some rest for their travel Tomorrow and so did Sasuke. The both slept together peacefully. Sakura slept huddled in sasuke's arms.
