"I'm here," Sasuke said, scanning his surroundings to find himself in the streets of Konoha. Despite his wife's advice, he decided to use his Rinnegan to teleport anyway.
Where would that dobe be right now? Sasuke thought to himself as he wandered the streets in search of the blonde jinchuriki. Even after searching all of Naruto's usual spots, he couldn't find him. Sasuke exhaled sharply and leaned against a wall. His moment was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Is that you, Sasuke?" the voice called out enthusiastically. It was none other than Rock Lee, the bright and cheerful ninja.
"You are... Rock Lee," Sasuke noted as the apprentice of Gai-sensei approached. With his thick eyebrows and distinctive wide eyes, Lee smiled brightly at the Uchiha.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Uchiha Sasuke," Rock Lee said proudly. Sasuke didn't care much about the other members of the Konoha 11; to him, only Sakura and Naruto mattered, so he barely knew anyone else from the academy. But Rock Lee was someone Sasuke could never forget.
"Hn." Sasuke responded, eyes half-closed.
"Do you know where Naruto is?" Sasuke inquired.
"Naruto-kun must be at the hospital!" Lee replied after a moment's thought.
"The hospital?"
"Yeah, it seems Hinata's in labor, so they admitted her," Lee explained.
"I see," Sasuke said, lowering his gaze. Who could he ask for advice now that Naruto was occupied? He couldn't disturb him right now. Sasuke was lost and disturbed.
"What's the matter?" Lee asked.
"Nothing. Nice meeting you," Sasuke said, before drifting further into the streets. As he thought about those close to Sakura, an idea struck him.
"Right. That Yamanaka girl," Sasuke said. After inquiring about Ino's whereabouts, he found she was running a flower shop and decided to go there.
"Welcome—S-Sasuke!?" Ino exclaimed, her eyes widening at the sight of Sasuke's unusual appearance in her shop. She greeted Sasuke, then glanced at the calendar, realizing it was Sakura's birthday, and looked back at the Uchiha.
"Yeah, you can get straight to the point," Ino said as she arranged flowers by color, handling each bloom with care.
"What would Sakura like?" Sasuke asked Ino Yamanaka, one of Sakura's best friends who had known her for years.
"Hmmm..." Ino took her time arranging the flowers, much to Sasuke's annoyance as he stood near the door frame.
"What do you think she'd like?" Ino asked, chuckling softly. Just then, a little pale boy with dusty blue eyes and blonde hair ran towards Ino, yelling "K-k-kaa...chaan!"
"Maa, Inojin!" Ino said, cradling the boy in her arms before turning back to Sasuke.
"I came here for answers," Sasuke said, ignoring her question.
"Well... if you ask me, Sakura's not the type to want something physical. The greatest gift for Sakura would be you agreeing to stay by her side, to build a family, to watch your child grow together, to share the deathbed together when you grow old. Sakura admires the little things in life that most people don't," Ino said, patting her son's head softly.
"Just try being there for her, maybe open your mouth and show her some words of affirmation," Ino chuckled sarcastically.
"Words of affirmation," Sasuke thought to himself.
"Thank you. Give my regards to Sai," Sasuke said, but as he was about to leave, Ino interrupted.
"Still doesn't mean you can show up empty-handed," Ino said, picking out roses and handing them to Sasuke. Sasuke thanked her and decided to buy a few more.

"Hinata, are you sure you're okay? Do you want me to get the doctor? Want me to bring you water?"
"Naruto-kun, I'm fine," Hinata smiled warmly, placing her hand on her husband's shoulder. Naruto was obviously panicking and worried about his wife. A faint knock on the door revealed Sasuke Uchiha.
"Sasuke!?" Naruto stuttered, surprised to see his best friend holding roses. Sasuke placed the roses in a vase.
"That's so considerate of you, teme," Naruto scoffed.
"Sasuke-kun, it's Sakura-chan's birthday tomorrow, right?" Hinata asked, glancing at Sasuke, who nodded.
"W-what!?" Naruto exclaimed, realizing he had forgotten due to the overwhelming situation with Hinata. Naruto facepalmed as Hinata chuckled. Sasuke sighed and approached his friend.
"Don't worry. Take care of your wife and son for now," Sasuke said, patting Naruto's back and saying farewell before heading to the hideout.

With Sakura...
Wow, I never thought I'd spend the night at Orochimaru's hideout, considering how scary he was during the Chunin Exams, Sakura thought to herself as she sighed. A faint knock on the door revealed Karin.
"Oh, Karin-san!" Sakura smiled warmly, but Karin ignored her and went inside the room, carrying a bag of food.
She set it on the table as Sakura closed the door, noting the awkward tension. Karin had a crush on Sasuke during their time as teammates, and now he had a wife bearing his child. It was overwhelming for Karin.
"Suigetsu told me you had a crush on Sasuke-kun," Sakura started, gaining Karin's attention.
"W-what!? Did that idiot actually tell you that?" Karin exclaimed, eyes widening.
"Yup! He told me not to tell you, but I did anyway," Sakura laughed awkwardly.
"Well, you don't need to worry. I don't like Sasuke or anyone anymore," Karin said, pouting.
"I'm not worried, Karin-san," Sakura stated.
"I know you must be hurt by the way Sasuke treated you, and I won't defend him for what he did. But don't worry... you're not alone."
"What did he do to you!?" Karin exclaimed, worried. The two found themselves conversing and laughing, bonding over their shared experiences with Sasuke. Karin was happy to see Sasuke have a family, even if it wasn't with her.
"Karin-san," Sakura said, holding Karin's hand.
"I want you to be my daughter's godmother."
"Y-you can't be serious, right?" Karin laughed.
"I'm serious. Please accept my offer," Sakura said, smiling warmly.
"Of course. I'd love to," Karin smiled back before Sasuke interrupted their moment.
"Ever heard of the term 'knocking,' Sasuke?" Karin said, annoyed, making Sakura burst into laughter.
"What's going on?" Sasuke asked, looking at the ladies. Karin stood up, punched Sasuke faintly in the chest, and said, "She's a keeper," before leaving the room to the couple.
"What did you guys talk about?" Sasuke asked as he sat next to his wife.
"Girl talk, can't tell you," Sakura chuckled.
