020 - Explain to them

Before Newt could even finish his breakfast I rushed when I saw Jeff and Clint ready to go to the Med-hut.

I ran there as fast as I could. I had to prepare them to see a body sleeping in the Med-hut.

I arrived breathless and sat down in my chair.

"Hey Stella".

"Morning guys". It was Clint and Jeff. They've just walked in. The problem was, how to tell them. They sat down in their chairs.

"Hey, have you seen my keys?" Clint said turning his head to Jeff.

"No..why?" Jeff said raising his eyebrows. I looked away as if I was searching for something.

"Wait. Stella?" Clint said and both the boys turned to me.

"Hm?"

"Keys. Now". Clint said and I gave them right away.

"How do you have them?" Jeff said now furrowing his eyebrows.

"Well, this is what I want to tell you". I said turning my whole body facing them. "Yesterday there was an incident—".

"What incident?" Clint said and his face darkened.

Jeff started walking to the beds.

"Wait!"

"Stella—OH MY HOLY SUCK!" Jeff shouted and jumped back.

"What happened?" Clint got up and walked over to Jeff.

"This is what I wanted to tell you—".

"Oh my—what is Billy doing here??" Clint said turning his whole body to face me.

"As I said. There was an incident". My voice was only getting louder.

"What happened?" Jeff said and now both the boys sat down in their chairs again.

"Yesterday Minho found him not well, brought him here and I happened to walk by—".

"And what about the keys?" Clint interrupted.

"They fell from you at the bonfire and when I wanted to give them to you, you had already left". I said and he nodded. "So we tried to figure it out all night".

"And it is?"

"There is a cut in the aorta, you know, the human's largest artery. That caused high blood pressure". I said and both of the boys' eyes widened.

They have never mentioned something as serious as the incident Newt had. And this was worse.

"So what do we do?" Jeff said his face full of disbelief.

"Minho and I are figuring it out. I just want you to keep him under observation".

"Should we tell the commanders?" Jeff said turning to Clint. That meant Newt would also find out. But he would at some point. I would be missing for the whole day. He would notice.

"I believe so. Only them". Clint said nodding.

All morning I was trying to find a solution.

Minho wasn't here yet, but he said he would try to come earlier than usual. I was alone in the Med-hut looking through the books. I didn't want to eat lunch either. All this situation stressed me. I had to save him.
