                                     Stella's POV

I suck in a breath.

My eyes slowly open and I try to breathe. Each time I suck in a breath, there is a stinging feeling in my lungs. It made it worse and harder to breathe.

Daylight shined through wherever I was. Also, I heard the sound of the sea hitting rocks and sand. The cold breeze makes it a peaceful hour of the day.

Where am I? Am I dead and this is heaven? I wondered.

But do I deserve to be in heaven?

I turned my head and took a look around me. I am in some sort of wooden hut, lying on a white bed. There is a small drawer next to me, filled with medicines, bottles, clean towels, stitches—medical stuff.

This reminds me a lot of the Med hut.

I took a look at my body and I am clean. My pale skin is smooth again and my veins are clear. I had the Flare but how—

There is a white cloth on my chest. I don't question it and slowly get up. My chest might hurt, but I didn't stop.

I was already wearing clean pants and there was a long-sleeved shirt in the last drawer. I quickly put it on crawl out of my bed and head towards the door.

The second I set foot outside, I was blinded by the beautiful view.

I blink a few times, so I can take in the bright light. The view is peaceful. Indeed there is a sea. A calm, beautiful sea. There were multiple cliffs around it and shells lay in the sand.

Next to the small hut I came out of, were dozens of other huts. People were walking around calmly sitting at a fire, eating, or talking to other people.

It all looked quite peaceful. Like a fever dream.

As my eyes inspected every inch of the place, then they caught two boys sitting around one of the many small fires.

I almost gasped at the sight. A blonde boy sitting with an Asian boy around the fire. They don't seem to be very happy though.

A warm feeling starts to grow in my stomach.

Without thinking I make a run for it. A run of sorts. I can't run well because my breathing shortens for now. But it will heal soon. I will feel better.

I speed up my pace which I manage to do well. I'm getting used to the wound.

Newt slowly looks up and his plain face lights up when his eyes meet mine. His eyes widen and he doesn't hesitate to get up from his seat.

He walks over to me and wraps both his arms around me tightly, lifting me into the air. He swings me around. Then carefully he let go, but he collided his forehead with mine.

"I thought you would die". He says in almost a whisper.

"I'm sorry". I whisper back trying to hold back a tear. I slowly let go and look at Minho. He doesn't look tired anymore. He looks better than before—but softer.

He gives me a small smile and I fall in his arms, taking in his smell. His hair is styled and there are no bags surrounding his eyes. I let go of him too and take another better look around.
