I WAS rooted to the spot, unsure of what to say. "S-So, what are we going to do? You made up that thing about the thesis, right? Your brother was right." I followed him with my eyes.
"Netflix and chill," he said, pushing the door closed without even looking at it.
I watched as Leo reached for the remote control on the bedside table. With a quick flick, he powered on the TV and settled comfortably on the bed. He patted the space beside him, inviting me to join him. As I sat down, he navigated through the Netflix categories until he found what he wanted-Hunter x Hunter.
I didn't mind; I was fine with watching anything. He seemed confident that I would enjoy it too. As the episode began, he leaned in and whispered, "You'll like this one."
We watched intently as the story unfolded, with Leo occasionally pointing out interesting details or sharing his thoughts on the characters. Suddenly, he remarked, "You're like Gon Freecs, always curious and adventurous," he said with a grin. "And I'm Killua Zoldyck, the loyal friend who's always got your back."
I couldn't help but smile at his comparison. Did he think about these things every time he watched it? The fact that he noticed those details or saw us-or me-in the things he did or watched made my heart flutter. I didn't want to assume, but maybe he has feelings for me?
"Isn't it great?" he asked, watching my reaction to see if I was enjoying it.
"Yes," I replied. He had asked the same question every time the opening and ending credits rolled.
"Do you want to watch more? Or is there something else you'd prefer?" I loved how he consistently checked in to see if I was still enjoying myself and was even willing to switch what we were watching just to keep things fun for both of us.
"No, it's fine," I said with a smile. But deep inside, there were a million things I wanted to say to him, like how much I appreciated everything he did.
"Food? Are you hungry?" he asked again, grabbing his phone and checking something, though I focused on the show.
"No, I'm good. I'm full." I continued watching, getting hooked on the story. But seriously, how could Colleen not appreciate someone like Leo Quintero? For me, he's the man! But does he do these thoughtful things for Colleen too, or is it just for us two? That was the question. Well, I didn't know. I hadn't been a third wheel with them yet.
After an episode, Leo got up from the bed. I asked where he was going.
He said he needed to get something outside.
I was left alone in his room. I paused the show exactly where he left so he wouldn't miss any scenes, though he seemed to know the entire Hunter x Hunter storyline by heart.
The recent events still hadn't fully sunk in for me. We had jerked each other off, he fingered my ass, we touched each other's bodies, and we even watched each other naked. The fact that I'm wearing the boxers he gave me tonight-hopefully, they're mine-makes me pretty sure he won't take them back. Those moments made me feel like there's something more waiting, but I don't want to get carried away by my thoughts. Maybe I'll just go with the flow; it is what it is.
I decided to change what we were watching. Navigating through the remote, I picked something new. I found myself pausing at my favorite BL movie, Call Me By Your Name, but I thought, no, Leo wouldn't like this. I was about to switch back to Hunter x Hunter when the door opened. "You said you didn't want to watch anything?" Leo saw what was on the TV screen.
"No, I mean... I just accidentally clicked on it," I stammered, realizing I hadn't exited Call Me By Your Name.
"I know that movie," he said, closing the door behind him. I noticed he was carrying some brown paper bags.
"You've seen it?" I asked, watching him look at the screen.
He nodded, "I love Timothée Chalamet's works; he's such a good actor."
"Perfect actor," I corrected him.
"He is," he agreed, nodding slowly. "But I didn't like that one much when I saw it. I was younger then, and not as open to those kinds of stories. Maybe I'd like it now? Who knows?"
"You're okay with it? Should I play it?" I asked, ready to press the play button.
He shrugged, "No problem, if you want to watch it."
"Don't get me wrong," I said, clearing my throat as if my soul resisted what I was about to say.
"Bro, I didn't say you're not straight," he responded defensively. "It's fine, you can watch whatever you want."
But that's not what I meant, or at least not entirely. "I-I mean, yeah... what's that?" I asked, eager to change the topic.
"Oh, right!" He seemed relieved by the shift. "Food. I got some for us," he said, raising the brown paper bags filled with food.
"Just for me?" I joked.
"We'll share, of course." He laughed as he came closer. He mentioned he knew I only refused earlier because I didn't want to admit I was hungry. He knew we'd been watching for four hours. It turned out he'd continued ordering online; that's why he was scrolling through the Food Panda app on his phone earlier when he asked if I was hungry.
"Thanks, come here," I said, meeting him halfway to help put the food on the bed.
As we settled in to watch "Call Me By Your Name," Leo had prepared a feast fit for a king. He laid out a spread of mouthwatering treats, including cheesy pizza, crispy fries, juicy burgers, and an assortment of snacks like mozzarella sticks, potato bites, and onion rings. To wash it all down, he had a refreshing supply of Coke and pineapple juice in can, ensuring we stayed hydrated throughout our movie marathon.
"I'm getting hard, Liam." He looked up to see me and what I'm doing and then looked down at his bottom as well.
"Really?" I was surprised to respond, I was swallowed when I saw the huge bulge between his thighs.
"Yeah, I don't know why ..." he said, his breaths too airy.
"Maybe, you're liking it," I replied. Maybe because he also had more snickers and M & M after he wiped and drank the pineapple juice.
"I think I am, especially since you're here with me," he said. Did he mean he's imagining me while he's watching? I was sure I'm Elio in his mind and he's Oliver.
"Are you straight, Leo?" I asked. I had thought about whether to ask that question a thousand times.
"Hell yeah, I am," Leo said, sounding sure-or so I thought. "And you too, right?"
"Yes," I said, but that was a lie. I wanted to punish myself for being such a liar. It's for my own good, though. For now.
But then, he suddenly spoke, causing my thoughts to pause abruptly. Imagine my surprise when he asked me.
"Do you mind sucking my dick?"
