My eyes followed the direction where Iva was pointing out. Only to find Mr. Rawat standing with a shotgun in his hands.

Mr. Rawat took predatory steps towards us. My body stiffened due to fear. I took a few steps back and stood behind Iva.

I was feeling timid to the core. what if he does something which he shouldn't be doing.

He stood in front of Iva and yanked his collar,

"How are dare you not sign the papers Mr. Oberoi," He said while roaring at Iva. Everyone flinched except Iva.

"Well you shouldn't shout because the place you're standing is mine and second thing what papers sasur ji," Iva mocked while removing Mr. Rawat's hand from his collar.

"Kaunse papers seriously, don't you remember the deal you offered to which I agreed for this marriage," Mr. Rawat said while pointing a gun at Iva's forehead.

I clutched onto Iva's kurta from behind. I was scared. I know how stoop Mr. Rawat can go for his greed and especially when he's betrayed.

I frowned being confused about what deal they were talking about. Sweat beads formed on my palms and forehead when witnessing the gun pointed towards Iva's forehead.

"Mr. Rawat aaram se baat kariye. Baithke shaanti se baat karte he aaj ka din bohot shubh hai," Ajay uncle said in a convincing tone. I know how much he was trying to control his anger.

("Mr. Rawat calm down, let's sit and talk. Today it's an auspicious day let's not ruin it")

"Aaram my foot, this stupid son of yours has destroyed my company. I agreed for this marriage because of the deal," Mr. Rawat while growling in anger. His eyes were red shoot, screaming the anger. I feel can feel his anger in my nerves. The days when he tormented me to calm down his bursting anger.

"What deal is he talking about Ivaan can you please tell what the hell is going on," Ajay uncle said coming towards us.

"Dad Mr. Rawat agreed to this marriage because I offered him a deal where our company would be collaborating with him and in return he would be giving his daughter's hand to me," Iva said in a calm tone.

My body felt numb. I'm not ready for what's coming next.

"In simple words Mr. Rawat sold his daughter for the deal," Iva said while everyone gasped and I lowered my gaze.

Sab ke liye ye shocking hoga par mere liye ye koi baat nahi he. I knew he wouldn't agree to this marriage until and unless he gets profit from it.

He proved again himself that he's a monster, a devil in disguise and he can never ever be a father.

Mr. Rawat would be kalank in the name of father. Papa banane ki ek baar bhi koshish nahi ki.

"Ye kya bol rahe hain aap Ivaan," said Ajay uncle, who was burning with anger. He looks even more dangerous than Iva right now. Ajay uncle was always a calm and friendly person just like Ivaan but right now everything has been changed. He isn't sunshine anymore.
