The rest of the day went by peacefully, Hyunjin was still not wanting to go inside and kept sitting or walking around the cabin. He doesn't know exactly why but something inside him made him feel belonging here than anywhere with walls, he still was afraid of whatever darkness that tries to grab him whenever he closes his eyes, even though Chan reassured him it was just nightmares cause of his lack of memories which his mind represented it as darkness... make sense in a way but Hyunjin wasn't that fully convinced cause whenever he looked at Felix he noticed how different the blonde boy is looking at him.Hyunjin can't tell what was different, but the way Felix's looking at him especially since they arrived at the cabin. It was a mix of fear, worry and something else that Hyunjin didn't really get. But whatever it was, it worried Hyunjin. Felix knows something now and not telling, just like Minho, and yet he can't get himself to hate the boy or avoid him, again just like Minho. The way they both look at him is filled with something he doesn't understand but he still afraid to ask.
"Hey... Mind if I join you?"
Felix said snapping Hyunjin out of his thoughts, it was dark now and Hyunjin was sitting on the steps just watching the trees and sky surrounding them, he nodded looking back at the sky feeling Felix sitting down beside him. They were silent for a while, Hyunjin didn't take his eyes of the sky watching the little stars twinkling in the dark sky, but Felix... Hyunjin can feel him looking at him from time to time, it was like he wanted to talk but didn't wanted to at the same time. It was confusing to his shambled mind.
"You know when I was young. I never liked looking at the sky."
Felix said was soft tone now looking at the sky.
"Why?... it's the only thing that's peaceful around us."
Hyunjin looked back at Felix with the need to understand him, he didn't like that now he's not feeling completely safe around him.
"It's big and it gets too dark... I always felt like it will crush us down."
Hyunjin said nothing but his frowned brows told Felix that he needs to say more.
"The city always makes the sky dark cause you can't see the stars sometimes even the moon can't be seen by a haze or dust... so it always looked... Scary... to me... to little me."
"Do you fear it now too?"
Felix shook his head smiling a little
"At High school I went camping with friends. It was my first time to go out into nature... the first night was mind changing."
"How?"
Hyunjin was curious and now fully paying attention to Felix even his body was turned to face the boy more. It made Felix smile more seeing him so curious and not lost in his mind as he was.
"The sky was illuminated by thousands of stars... I never saw this much of them up above."
He looked up at the sky as it was filled with the stars
"It was like a whole different sky... the stars were very shiny and so many like twinkling lights. I remember spending my first night just laying on the ground watching them above me."
Hyunjin smiled and looked back up too.
The silence was back again between them but it wasn't awkward, it was peaceful.
"When I first woke up...here."
Hyunjin whispered like he doesn't want to be heard."I didn't know where I was. But the first thing I saw was the sky and the stars... they were shining down on me... I wasn't scared... for a while it didn't feel strange to just lay there and nothing around me but them... I wasn't scared... that's why I didn't try to move or go somewhere. I just laid there and it felt right, not until..."
