26 . With my last breath

A gasp broke the silence that filled the room for a long time, Felix was the first to come to his senses and reach for Chan who kept gasping for breath.

"It's okay Chan .. You're okay.. you're back now... breath it's okay..."
Felix kept repeating gently as he watched Chan calming down and finally breathing normally.

"Dammit .. that was the scariest six hours of my life."
Changbin sighed in relief helping Chan to sit straight "you did it man."
Han stayed close but didn't wanted to crowd Chan with how hard he was breathing.

As for Chan..

He didn't understand why and what happened.
He was back.. that was Felix's voice and Changbin's... He's back..

or is it another memory..

It was still foggy in his mind..

He knows they found Hyunjin, Minho did it... he released Hyunjin's energy.

Minho did it...

"Minho..."

Chan snapped out of his haze pushing away his friends and looked at Minho who remained sitting beside him seemingly sleeping.. but he wasn't... Chan knows, he remembers.

"Minho wake up ... No Minho you can't just.. Fuck it Minho wake up."
Chan kept shaking Minho trying to wake him, his voice shaking and he can feel anger and helplessness filling him.
"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE SO STUPID... YOU PROMISED.."

"What... why isn't Minho waking up?"
Felix asked with a shaky voice although he can guess the answer, so did Han and Changbin who tried to pull away Chan from Minho as they saw how he was shaking him strongly.

"Chan why isn't he waking up?"
Felix pleaded trying to stop his tears, this can't be happening.

"Jeongin.."
Chan pushed his friends away getting to his feet "where is he, Jeongin where's he."
"He disappeared... he suddenly said Hyunjin and then disappeared.. we understood that you guys succeeded and Jeongin was able to track him.. we were waiting for both of you to wake up."
Chan listened and looked back at Minho
"He has to come back maybe he can do something before it's too late."
"What happened Chan?"
Felix asked growing impatient
"Hyunjin ... He ... No, that was..".

Chan tried to get his thoughts straight but how when he doesn't understand, there were two of them. One of them was crazy and menacing while the other was their soft kind Hyunjin... how does that make sense.

"Jeongin has to come back.. does any of you have his number. We have to get him back here... Minho..."

Minho's body was growing cold and face paler than he ever saw him before, was it too late?

"What happened?"
"It was Hyunjin... he stabbed Minho."

The words came out of Chan's mouth sounding so strange and distant, but this's what happened.

He saw it...
This dark menacing Hyunjin stabbed Minho...

Hyunjin killed Minho.

Seungmin eyes stung with the blinding light that filled the room where he slept along with Hyunjin.
He fought against the pain till he managed to open his eyes and see what was causing this, although he knows now.

It was Hyunjin's starlight. He saw it before and now it was happening.

But how.. why..

Why would Minho risk releasing Hyunjin's power and how from such distance..

Seungmin's head was filled with questions he knows won't get the answers for them, but it doesn't really matter... Hyunjin has awoken..

As much as Seungmin knows that his chain will take control quickly, he still feared the minutes it will take for it to work...
