20 . A Simple Plan

The plan was simple, Jeongin thought, showing up as Hyunjin's friends and take him home.. simple but with many holes that will definitely cause suspicions, but Seungmin assured him that he can make it more convincing "just let me do the talking" is all he said and Jeongin was more than happy to do that, cause he didn't know if he can trust himself when he starts talking to Hyunjin.

He actually wanted to use his powers and take Hyunjin without even talking to these people but Seungmin refused, cause if Jeongin uncovered his energy and use it that will warn Minho and cause his arrival which will cause so much unwanted conflicts.

Jeongin is going to have a proper talk with Minho once back in there realm and Hyunjin is safe and back home. If what Seungmin is saying is true, Jeongin will deal with Minho himself and if it's all a misunderstanding then he will and Seungmin will too help Minho against whoever wants to hurt Hyunjin.

The plan was simple

And it will work

Hyunjin will go back home

Very simple.. not until he heard these words.

"We all go to the police station and inform them that Hyunjin found his family."

Chan said these words pulling Hyunjin out of there arms and bringing him to his side again.

"Police... why?... I mean... why?"

Jeongin didn't know how to stop himself from getting nervous and stuttering seeing how Chan was eyeing them and tightening his grip on Hyunjin protectively.

"Cause the police know about this situation and it's my responsibility now... his safety. Even without the police involvements. You don't think I would let Hyunjin walk away with just some people showing up with a picture of him on their phone."

Jeongin didn't know what to say. He really wanted to send both humans to sleep and maybe even Hyunjin and just take him and leave. But a firm hand on his shoulder calmed him as he saw Seungmin taking a step in front of him to stand before Chan.

"What you said actually makes me happy. Thinking that Hyunjin is and was safe all this time. And it all makes perfect sense.. but don't you think that this will just waste time. I major in psychology and I know that getting an amnesiac person into his familiar surroundings is the first step in recovery. Police will just waste time and .."

"What's the hurry? He has been with us for long. I think one more day won't hurt him."

Han said coming to stand on Hyunjin's side.

"I know... I just don't want his ex to show up and ruin everything. Cause... well... the main reason we came to look for Hyunjin, is because we knew that his ex is looking for him too."

Chan and Han was watching the young man talking and trying to figure him out.

Hyunjin though.. was excited to find people who wanted him and a home to belong to. But Chan was worried, and he didn't know why exactly. Those boys knows him and have pictures of him. That young boy feels so familiar and warm it touched Hyunjin's heart once he saw him. But Chan was worried... and Hyunjin definitely didn't wanted to go back to that police thing.

"What's ex?"

Is all that Hyunjin said and wanted to understand.

"Your ex.. the guy you were in a relationship with. He's not good for you.. he wasn't and he won't. He's manipulative and controlling. He was toxic and a creep..."

Jeongin listened to Seungmin and looked down not liking how he was talking about Minho... well it was Minho he meant. Yes he wasn't in a relationship with Hyunjin but he knows that it's the closest thing to describe their relationship to normal people. But Minho isn't as bad as he was describing him to be. It was angering him to hear that about his brother.
