time travel

Eddie goes back in time and meets season 1 buck

6 months before eddie joined the 118 he took a trip to LA. He wanted to make sure everything would be good before he brought chris with him to this new state. While on the trip he walked around but never ran into any of the 118.

Eddie sometimes thought about that when he would be at a gathering. He would think how close they were but how he had no idea about any of them.

After a gathering he had this thought then went to bed. When he opened his eyes he wasn't where he thought he would be.

He looks around. It's the hotel room he stayed at when he was visiting LA.

"Ok this has to be a dream" eddie says to the open room.

He checks his phone and sees the date. 2018, the year he moved to LA. Eddie convinced himself it couldn't be real.

He dicides to find buck. He never got to met buck back then so he was curious what his mind would come up with.

He looks his name up and found him posting a picture at a bar. He checks the time and it was only half an hour before so he knew buck would still be there.

He looks it up and goes to the bar. When he walks in its like nostalgia, he remembered all of them being there for his graduation celebration

He sees buck and walks over to were he is sitting. He sits a seat away at the bar and orders a drink. He pats his pocket and is greatful to find a wallet.

Eddie drinks a lot. He figured it's a dream might as well. Plus he needed some confidence if he was going to talk to buck. He was still unsure if it was a dream but if it wasn't he couldn't explain it.

Buck looks at him and eddie is about to say something but then buck speaks. "Hey handsome what are you doing here?" Buck says as he gets closer.

Eddie is suprised because the buck he knows is calm and not at all this flirty right off the bat. "Aren't you going to give me your name first?" Eddie says unable to not flirt back

He has been flirting with buck for years they both have so it came so easily. "It's buck what about you?" Buck asks and eddie blushes

"Eddie" eddie says not wanting to say his full name.

"Oh Mexican. You speak spanish?" Buck asks his tone seductive

"Yea I'm fluent estas tan caliente" eddie says smiling.

He was telling buck he was so hot. Buck licked his lips. "Hmm I would love to hear what you sound like in bed" Buck says and eddie feels tingles down his spine.

Buck seemed to liked that he made eddie flustered because he smiled "would you like that hm?" Buck asks and eddie gulps.

Eddie is so suprised. He knew buck was different before they met but he wasnt expecting this. This buck was wild and not at all like his buck.

Buck is getting closer to eddie and eddie wants to kiss him. He wants to feel his lips. "Yes" eddie says and bucks eyes get big.

The next thing he knows buck kisses him. They kiss for a good minute, when they do pull off they are both breathless.

Eddie is pretty tipsy not enough not to remember but enough to know he drank. He kisses buck again but they never go farther then that.

Eddie was realizing his feelings and the fact he doesn't know how to do anything he just smiled "it was nice to meet you but I should go I have work in the morning." He says which is a lie.

"Alright well I hope to see you again" Buck says but doesn't offer his number.

Eddie remembers buck telling him back then he would just sleep with however but never actually date so he just smiled. "Sure see you later mi amore" he says and then leaves

When he gets back he laughs and lays down. He felt tired "maybe I'll wake up if I go to sleep" eddie says and sighs not wanting to leave.

He lays down and closes his eyes. Thankfully when he opens his eyes he is in his timeline nothing looks to have changed.

Eddie looked around to find his room exactly how it always is. He chuckled "so it was a dream" he says to himself before leaving his room.

He wakes chris and then finds buck I the kitchen. It wasn't unusual since they always did game night Friday night and buck ends up sleeping there.

He sits down "Hey buck I have a question" eddie says and buck turns

"Yea? What's up?"

"When did we first meet?" Eddie asks and buck chuckles

"Did you hit your head? We met at the fire house on your first day" Buck says after teasing him.

"What happened on my first day?" Eddie asks and buck stops cooking looking at him.

"Are you ok?" Buck asks worried

"Please just answer" eddie says and so buck does

"I was jealous because you were so comfortable then we took a bomb out of a guy's leg" Buck says and eddie relaxes.

Eddie was glad nothing changed. He was worried because as much as he wanted buck he didnt want to lose all the memories they had made together even the small ones.

"Why bring it up?" Buck asks and so eddie explains

"Well I had a dream where we met at a bar. It was the one we all went to when I became a honorary firefighter. I met you and we kissed" eddie says and then realizes he said it.

He looks worried at buck afraid of his reaction. He was expecting buck to look disgusted or at least uncomfortable about it.

Buck looked like he could laugh. This wasn't what eddie expected "why do you find it funny?" Eddie asks but buck smiles.

"Because it did happen once but you were so drunk you seemed like you didnt remember so I acted like I didn't either" Buck says and eddie is suprised

"Wait it did happen? I oh" is all eddie can say trying to understand if his dream was actually him traveling back.

"So you would kiss me again?" Buck asks and eddie makes a suprised noise

"Well I'm not saying I wouldn't" eddie says and buck steps closer kissing him just like he did at the bar

Except now there was history behind the kiss and no alcohol in their systems.

Eddie isn't sure if he did change something or if it was all a memory he dreamed of but he is glad it all worked out for him because now he has buck.
