gay panic

Eddie has a realization and panicked. He goes to the one person he knows will help him through it. Abuela.

When eddie met buck he caught himself looking buck up and down. The man was hot and eddie couldn't help looking.

In the military eddie had looked at other men but he was with Shannon so he never acted on it.

Then when he came back he knew his parents would never approve. They would try to take chris away and if they succeeded he would never see him again so he never tried to date guys.

Eddie has never met anyone like buck. The man was the living definition of a golden retriever. He followed eddie around and eddie got used to him being there.

Eddie thought it would be fine as long as he shoved those feeling as far down as he could. 

He figured he and buck could be best friends and nothing else but then a women flirted with eddie on call and he wasn't interested at all.

He kept telling himself he should be attracted. She was beautiful and kind. She was obviously interested but eddie just felt nothing.

He was panicking,  he knew the reason he didn't like her was because he has eyes for buck.

He tries to play it off when buck brings it up. "Hey, chris isn't the real reason you don't date right?" Buck asks and eddie shrugged.

"She wasn't my type. Not anymore" eddie says without thinking.

Buck brushes shoulders with him "mine either" Buck says and eddie feels his heart jump.

The touch makes eddie's thoughts race. He can't let those feelings show. He tries to push them down but they won't go away.

Eddie starts to panic more, afraid someone will notice. He keeps his head down the rest of the shift avoiding everyone.

He knows he can't keep hiding from everyone but he tries. Hen of course notices and doesn't let it go.

She corners him in the work out area. "Why are you avoiding everyone? You haven't so much as looked at buck. What happened?" Hen asks and eddie gulps

He could tell her but he was scared she wouldn't be happy about it. "It's nothing" eddie tries but she crosses her arms.

"That doesn't work with me. You and buck are usually connected at the hip and now your avoiding him so it has to be something" hen says and eddie sighs.

"You don't have to talk to me but you should talk to someone because it's going to start effecting your work." She says patting his shoulder before she walks away.

Eddie knows she is right so he thinks of who to talk to. Then abuela comes to mind. He was nervous to tell her but he knew she would help him through it so he calls carla.

He feels nervous and relieved when he hears her voice. "Hey eddie. Did you need something?" She asks in that sweet tone of hers.

"Hey can you watch chris for the night? I'll pay you double." he asked nervously.

"Of course. No need to pay me double I love watching chris. are you ok?"  Carla asks as caring as always.

"Yea I'm ok I just need to talk to abuela." He says and Carla hums.

"Alright be safe. I'll see you tomorrow" Carla says before he ends the call

Buck comes up to him with a smile that melts Eddie's heart. "Hey you wanna hangout after work?" Buck and eddie feels guilty but knows he can't right now.
