After eddie tells buck he made him Christopher's legal gardian, they go out and get matching tattoos

The news was shocking. When buck had gone to get eddie from the hospital after he got shot he didn't expect his whole life to change.

At first he was suprised eddie had wanted him to take him home. He had ana and they were dating so buck had thought eddie would want her.

It filled his chest with pride knowing eddie chose him over her. He walked into the room smiling.

"The nurse said she is filling out your discharge papers now so you'll be a free man in about 10 minutes" Buck said joking

"Sit down" eddie said gently and buck was suprised but sat down

Buck had a million thoughts in his head but he tried to ignore them and looked at Eddie.

"Are you ok?" Buck asks trying to keep his voice calm but it was obvious he was worried.

"I need to tell you something and I need you to listen no talking" eddie said looking at buck his face unreadable

Bucks eyes search his face trying to find any clues but Eddie's military training made it hard.

Buck just nods keeping his mouth shut. He knew it had to be serious. Eddie took a deep breath before he spoke.

"As we both know I almost died. Again." Eddie starts and buck is about to speak but eddie gives him a look so he stays quiet

"Well after the last time when I got buried alived" he says trying to get to the point but buck speaks

"Which you survived" Buck says and eddie sighs

"After that" He says softly making sure buck won't speak before continuing

"I realized that if I wasn't around who would take care of chris. So I went to my attorney and changed my will" eddie says and buck looks suprised

Buck didn't know eddie even had a will to change. Buck had never gotten one since he never had anyone to leave his things to. He thought maybe he should make one too but pushed the thought away to listen to eddie

"I changed it so that if I... didn't make it chris would be taken care of.... by you" eddie finishes and buck looked shocked

"Me? Wait. Don't you need my consent? You can't just put a random name on there. Can you?" Buck asks confused

Again buck had a million thoughts in his mind but this time they were different. Why did eddie intrust chris to him? Did eddie really trust him that much?

Before he can think about the situation anymore eddie is speaking again. Buck listens wanting an answer to his question.

"My attorney said you could refuse" eddie says pausing feeling pride in his chest

"But you knew I wouldn't" Buck responds and eddie smiles at him.

Eddie's smile made buck smile. "I knew you wouldn't" eddie says in a way that makes bucks heart flutter.

"Alright fine if I'm his legal gardian then I have a request" Buck says knowing eddie was right he would never refuse to take in chris.

eddie wasn't expecting his response and it showed on his face. Buck tried not to smile more at this.

"What is it?" Eddie asks confused

Buck can see the wheels turning in his head and buck waits a second before continuing.

"Let's get matching tattoos" Buck says and eddie chuckles

"Are you serious?" Eddie asks thinking buck was just joking again but buck nods
