Shannon refused to help eddie get chris into the school so buck offers to help

Eddie was excited to get chris into this new school. He had thought once the paper work was over it was be an easy process.

He forgot that he and Shannon weren't legally divorced so on paper it said he was still married.

They wanted a meeting with both parents. Eddie didn't want to visit Shannon she left them so long ago.

Eddie had picked up the pieces but now he still needed her help. He found her address and traveled to her house.

He knocked and thought about running off, just getting back in his truck and leaving.

Eddie wish he had done so when she opened the door. She looked annoyed to see him. "What are you doing here?" She asks looking around him to make sure Chris isn't there.

"I want to put chris in a good school but they want to meet the other parent since it says we are married." Eddie explains and she rolls her eyes.

Eddie felt his chest ache. This wasn't the same women he had loved and had chris with. She acted like them being in her life was an inconvenience to her.

Eddie was hoping she would help but it was obvious she wanted nothing to do with him or chris. "I left him with you. So take care of him. Don't bother me with it" she said and just goes inside.

Eddie was sure that was it but then she comes back. He doesn't notice she has something in her hands at first. Then his eyes found them and he knew what it was.

She returned with divorce papers. "I was going to have them mailed to you but here" she said like it's no big deal

Eddie was so pissed he just took them and left. When he gets back home buck is with chris.

He is so greatful for buck. He hides the papers so chris won't see before he enjoys his time with them.

Eventually chris falls asleep. Buck carries him to bed and they take turns saying goodnight.

Once back out just the 2 adults eddie told him everything. "She litterally acted like us existing is some sort of problem for her" eddie says feeling helpless.

"I wanted chris to go to this school but it won't look good if I say I'm in the beginning of a divorce" eddie says and buck finally speaks

"Well the school knows your married but not to who" Buck says and eddie looks at him with an eyebrow raised.

"I could pretend to be your husband. Chris loves me, carla knows me and I'd come to get chris from school too so why not." Buck says and eddie thinks about it

"Would it even work?" Eddie asks and buck started making their story

They met when buck was a bartender and eddie was in the army. Then when eddie got back they dicided to move so buck moved first wanting to be out of the probationary position before they brought chris to LA

"We would need to tell chris so he doesn't accidently tell them" eddie says and buck nods

"Agreed. We will tell him in the morning.  We will need to tell cap and our friends too in case they get called" buck said and eddie nodded.

"I'll call Bobby and then we can tell the other 2 when we see them at work tomorrow." Buck says and eddie is still unsure but agrees

Buck calls Bobby and explains the situation. Bobby laughs but doesn't shut them down. "Alright I'll make sure I know my story incase they call" Bobby said before the call ended.
