breakdown

Buck has a breakdown after chris is kidnapped

The call came in as a women stuck. When they arive they see that she
was stuck in the balcony.

She fell halfway through and couldn't get out. They made their way to her carefully so the balcony wouldn't fall apart anymore

They helped her out and while they worked on her eddie stayed with her son. He was very sick, he was pale and very skinny.

When eddie asked him what he had the kid gave a very vague answer. Eddie having a kid with cp knew there was different types of diseases.

Eddie had a wierd feeling about the kids answer but he told himself that the kid probably didn't know all the details about his condition.

Eddie checks the cabnit and sees a bunch of medications. He didn't have time to look at them because the mom was free.

They left but eddie just couldn't get it out of his head. He brought it up to buck knowing he would understand.

"If your worried about the kid let's tell athena. She can do a wellness check just to make sure the kid is ok" Buck says and eddie thinks it's a good idea

After work they talk to athena about Eddie's worries. "I can definitely do a wellness check." Athena says and the next day she does.

She goes to the house and the mom looks a little shaken by the visit. Athena checks the cabnits and sees why eddie was worried.

It's a lot of medication. "And what does your son have?" Athena asks the mom

"autoimmune disease" the mom says and athena raises an eyebrow.

Most people with that disease don't look as good as this kid. Athena doesn't want her to be let on so she nods.

"Why don't I get his doctor record so you can see" the mom says leaving the room

Athena looks at the boy and goes to him. "If someone is wrong, even if you aren't sure if it's wrong call me" athena says giving him a card.

He hides it as his mom comes back. "Well from what I've seen you know what your doing so I'll be going now" athena says and the mom looks relieved.

"Have a nice day officer" she says and athena goes to talk to the boys

When athena tells eddie she was worried too he is glad he told her. "It's just too many medications" athena says and eddie nods

"That's what I thought too" eddie says and buck joins them.

They catch him up on athena's visit. "So what the plan now?" Buck asks and athena nods

"I gave him my card but I'm also going to check all the records we have on his mom and him." She says and then leaves the station.

A week passes and they haven't gotten anything. The records didn't know anything out of place.

The kid was born healthy then around 3 he become very sick and was diagnosed.

Athena was beginning to think that maybe she and eddie were wrong. Then she got a call from the son.

When she answered she didn't know it was him. "Hello Sargent athena Grant speaking" she answers as normal

"Athena? You told me to call if I thought something was wrong." Th3 boy says and he is quiet

"Jacob. Are you ok?" She asks realizing who it is.

"No. You gotta help, mom is making me sick." The boy says and athena takes a deep breath
