New years finally gets the boys together

Buck and eddie have spend many new years together. Went to many parties together.
They have went together every year since they met even if they had dates. It was never a planned thing it just happened.
Buck enjoyed spending the party with eddie and chris or just eddie but they never kissed at midnight.
All of their friends would kiss their partners and the boys would just clinck their beers together. It became almost tradition for the boys to have beers in their hand while the countdown was going on so they could cheers when it dropped.
They always had a good reason not to kiss. First buck was getting over Abby. Then he was with Taylor. Then Shannon came back right around Christmas.
She passed away and it hit eddie hard so they didn't go to the party which means they didnt kiss that year either.
The next year they both had dates. Eddie was with Ana and buck was with Tommy.
They kissed their partners at midnight but it felt wrong. Shortly after the party eddie and Ana broke up.
The next year eddie was single, buck was just dumped by Tommy.
When it happened buck thought he would have been more sad but he wasn't. He felt relieved that he could go with eddie to the party.
When he told eddie they broke up eddie gave him a wierd look before fixing his face. "What happened?" Eddie asks and buck sighed
"He said he had fun but he didn't see us having a future which I guess I get but we had been together for almost a whole year" Buck said and eddie nods
"Yea it does suck." Eddie said and then buck smiled
"So you wanna go to the new years party together?" Buck asks knowing the answer.
"Of course" eddie says and buck smiles.
Eddie hadn't tried to date anyone after the whole Ana and chris situation.
Ana tried to control chris and chris didn't like her at all. Eddie dicided dating wasn't worth it.
They dicided to match for the party. They looked great and even had chris matching.
They drove together to the nash-grant house. When they arive eddie helps chris out while buck grabs the food he brought. Buck knocks and athena opens the door happily.
"Boys your here come in." She said taking the food from buck.
"You three look so cute." Athena said as she put the food down.
She took her phone out to take a picture of the three. They all posed for it of course.
Once she was satisfied they walked off. Chris went to the kids who were all playing video games while the two head for the others.
Hen smiled "matching?" She asked and buck nodded
"Yea chris wanted to and I can't tell him no" Buck said and it wasn't a lie.
"Your going to have to figure out how to do it eventually" eddie says and buck shakes his head.
"I'm good. I'll stay fun buck and you can do the punishments" Buck says making hen and Karen laugh.
Then Maddie walked to them with jee. Buck took jee playing with her so his sister could socialize with the others.
Eventually the TV is turned from video games to the ball drop. They all eat and hangout while waiting for it to drop.
Buck and eddie drink a bit more then they usually would since they were having a huge sleepover athena and bobby's house.
When the countdown is near everyone goes to their partners. Instinctively buck grabs 2 beer and goes to eddie giving him one.
Eddie takes it and they all watch as the countdown starts.
"10" they shout all together
"9" the kids say excitedly
"8" the adults say
"7" everyone gets closer to their partners
"6" they face eachother
"5" Buck thinks about kissing eddie.
"4" Buck puts his beer down
"3" eddie gives him a confused look
"2" eddie puts his beer down too
"1" Buck steps closer and kisses eddie who kisses back
All the adults are kissing as the fireworks go off on TV. Chris shouts excited making everyone look towards him.
Eddie and buck had jumped apart at hearing chris. Chris was smiling brightly. "Buck and dad kissed yay" chris said making the others laugh
Harry smiled at chris "this means we both have 2 dads" Harry said and chris nodded
"I have 2 moms" denny said and the kids laugh making the adults laugh
Buck took Eddie's hand as they look at each other. Eddie turns to chris "your ok with this?" Eddie asks and chris nods
"I wanted you to date buck" chris says surprising his dad.
"Raise a glass to the couple we've all be waiting for" athena says and everyone raises their glasses.
"Congrates you two" Bobby said thinking they had talked before.
The boys don't correct their friends. They held hands the rest of the party while hen gladly collected her money from the bet.
