hug it out

Another comfort fic because I can't handle what the show is doing to chris and eddie right now.

Chris finds out about his mother's look alike and they hug it out.

Eddie knew he should have never even talked to her but she looked like Shannon.

It brought a lot of those emotions back and he let himself get dragged into it. Then chris found out about them

Eddie watches as his sons eyes lit up before they went dark obviously understanding the situation.

Chris just ignored him and rushed to his room. Carla gave him a look that told him he should have known better.

The women leaves and eddie promises himself to never see her again.

He tried knocking on chris' door but he refuses to open it. Eddie figured he just needed some time and then they would talk but then his phone goes off

It's his parents and he can already feel the fear of what they are going to say to him.

"Hello?" He asks and his mother voice came through the phone

"Christopher just called us to come get him." She says and eddie feels panic

He is filled with it and before his mother can say anything more he hangs up. They can't take him.

If they do he will never see chris again, they will manipulate him into hating eddie.

Eddie thinks of a way out of this. His parents would surely show up and if chris says he wants to go they will take him.

Eddie knows talking to Chris himself won't work and then he has an idea. He taps his phone few times before it is calling.

"Hey eds" Buck voice comes through and eddie relaxes just a little

"I messed up so bad. Chris found out about Shannon's look alike and now he called my parents to come get him. If they talk him he will be gone forever" eddie is panicking and is moment away from a panick attack

"Eddie breath. I'm on the way just breath" Buck says and there is obviously movement noises on the other end

Then eddie hears the jeep start up. The call ends but eddie isn't alone for very long. Buck is at his house in half the time it should have taken him

Buck quickly makes his way to eddie and gets at eye level. Eddie looked like a wreck.

"Where is he?" Buck asks after doing a few deep breaths with eddie

"In his room. He won't come out or even open the door" eddie says and buck gets this confused look

He was raised in a very toxic house so his first thought was probably not the best but he still let it slip through his lips

"He can't keep you out." Buck says and eddie gets frustrated

"I don't want to break the damn door down. I want him to open it" eddie says and buck nods

"I'll talk to him" Buck says making his way to chris' door.

Buck knocks and waits a few seconds but no response comes. Buck isn't even sure if chris will let him in but he tries.

"Chris it's me" Buck says and after a moment the door opens just a crack.

Buck takes it as an invitation and opens the door a bit more. Just enough to slip inside.

Chris' room was a mess. He had obviously destroyed his room out of anger.

Chris was sitting on his bed just looking at his lap.  Chris didn't even attempt to look at buck as he sat on the bed.
