In the new season when Chris finds out about his mom's look alike he dicides to live with buck.
Chris refuses to talk about it and eddie is getting colder towards buck tell he can't handle it anymore

When buck first arrives to the house his first task is calming eddie and talking to him.
"What happened after?" Buck asks knowing the situation already
"He locked himself in his room after they left and hasn't talked to me since." Eddie says distressed
"Ok I'm here what can I do?" Buck asks
"What you always do. Just.... talk to him?" Eddie asks desperately
"I don't know how to explain this." Buck says softly
"I don't need to you to explain. I... I need you to talk to him... check up on him. I'm worried. He won't come out" eddie says and gets more desperate as he speaks
"He can't keep you out of his room, your his dad" Buck says
"I don't want to break his door down. Buck. I want him to open it." Eddie says and buck nods
"I will try to talk to him" Buck says and goes to Chris's door.
He knocks and when he doesn't get an answer he speaks "Hey superman it's buck can I come in?" Buck says and can hear Chris moving
The door opens just a crack and when Chris doesn't see his dad he opens the door letting buck in
They sit together on the bed. Buck looks around at the room. Chris had pulled all the stuff off his desk and thrown everything to the floor.
As buck looks at his desk he sees the picture of his mom is broken. He looks at chris who doesn't look great.
Chris had obviously been crying and it hurt bucks heart. He wished he could just take his pain away.
His room was a mess but buck understood why he did it. They sit in silence for a few minutes before buck speaks again
"Talk to me buddy" he says and chris explodes
"Its not fair! I thought it was real!" Chris says upset and begins to cry again
Buck holds him and let's chris get it out. "I thought my mom was back. I was so happy but I knew it wasn't real. She wasn't my mom. It felt like I was losing her all over again." Chris said quieter as he cries into buck's chest
When he calms down they sit in silence for a few more minutes before chris speaks. "I wanna live with you." Chris says and buck hesitates
"Just for a little while, I think I can make that happen" Buck said and then went out to talk to eddie
"How is he?" Eddie asks and buck was honest
"He is still mad at you and wants to come live with me for a bit. It's better then any alternitive" Buck says and can see eddie is shattered but nods
"Your right. The only other option is my parents and I never want that" eddie said and buck hugs him.
Buck helps chris pack and when they come out eddie hugs chris. "I love you. I will always love you. I know your upset" eddie said and feels his heart break as chris doesn't hug him back or respond
He let's go and buck gave him to Carla who agreed to take chris so buck could help eddie before coming back.
When they left eddie broke down. Buck held him through it but wasn't sure what to say
