how did you know?

Sorry it's shorter then I usually write hope you like it either way.

Buck and eddie got married a few weeks ago. One day while eddie is tucking chris in to bed he asks a question.

"How did you know you love buck?"

Buck and Eddie's wedding was perfect. All of their friends were there and their chosen family members too.

Abuela and pepa were so happy for them. Bobby walked buck down the isle and chris was the ring holder.

It was definitly the happiest day of their lives. The next few days was figured out living arrangements.

Chris talked buck into moving in so they were mostly moving his belongings to their home.

Once everything was moved in it really started to feel real. Eddie really married his best friend.

One night after dinner they all started getting tired. It had been a long day.

Buck walks to chris giving him a hug and a kiss on the head. Chris always loved when buck did that.

"Goodnight buddy I'm going to take a shower" Buck says and chris smiles

"Goodnight buck" chris says happily

Buck gives eddie a kiss before heading off to shower. Eddie gets chris ready for bed and takes him to his room.

He puts his son in bed and expects the usual ask for a story but instead chris said something that surpised eddie.

"How did you know?" Chris asks looking serious

"How did I know what?" Eddie asks confused.

"How did you know buck was the one?" Chris asks and eddie smiles.

He sits at the end of the bed and waits for chris to lay before he starts to speak.

"Well we talked everyday and honestly he did most of the talking." Eddie said making Chris chuckle.

"I was just happy to be near him. One day we talked until it got dark. Everybody else went home and it was just us." Eddie says

Chris looks so interested as he stares at his dad and waits for him to continue.

"He made me laugh and smile even when I was having a bad day. He made me happy and suported" eddie says and chris frowned

"Ana didn't make you feel like that" chris points out and eddie nods chuckling

"Your right, she didn't. One day you will find someone who makes you feel the way buck makes me feel and you'll never let them go" eddie said and Chris nodded

The boy yawned unable to hide his sleepiness "Goodnight mijo" Eddie said kissing his head

"Night dad" Chris said closing his eyes to sleep as eddie sneaked out.

Buck was in the livingroom waiting for eddie. He had his arms spread across the back of the couch and he looked too good to be real.

Eddie truly knew buck was the one. He had to be. When buck noticed eddie he smiles and reaches his hand out.

Eddie takes it and they sit together. Buck smells good and eddie can't believe he gets this for the rest of their lives.

"Did he go to sleep ok?" Buck asks and eddie nods

"Yea. He asked how I knew you were the one so I told him the story of how we fell in love" eddie says and buck kisses him

"My story is never ending. I fall in love with you all over again every day" Buck says and eddie couldn't be happier.
