30: 𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑚 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑑

You woke up. Kinito was still sleeping next to you, in his human form.
It was time to go back to work, but kinito already got used to it.
You give him a gentle pat on the head before going to get dressed.
As always, Kinito grabs onto the back of your shirt.

K: "Let's cuddle tonight again...okayyyyyyy?"

You have to admit, he's really cute in the mornings. Half of the time he acts like he's drunk if he wakes up too early.

Y: "Hah, okay."

~ ~ (Gonna skip to after work here because all of you guys know how it goes)

You wanted to do something a little funny tonight. As you open the house door silently, you tip-toe to your room where Kinito was probably sitting.
Luckily, he was facing away from you.
You suddenly jump at him.

Just as you wanted, Kinito gets a good spook.

K: "Ah! Y... You.... You scared me to death!"

Y: "Haha... But it was funny!"

You push him onto the bed and begin a tickle attack. It felt like you were freeing your inner child.

Kinito tries to fight you but in the end you still end up victorious. Seeing him have fun after knowing what he's going through must be good for him too.

Y: "Wait... You sound different."

K: "I... Wanted to tell you.."

Y: "Got a new voice?"

K: "Yeah... I worked all day to make it as life-like as possible."

Y: "Good job, it sounds amazing!"

Kinito blushes and leans in to hug you. You really needed this after a long day of work.

K: "Y... I lo... I really like spending time with you like this.."

Y: "I enjoy it just as much.."

Kinito slowly begins getting visibly sleepy. It seems it's contagious, too.
