Ch. 30

Two Days Later

I decided to just let Envy rest for the last two days. I've been busy with work and trying to find her a place close to me where she can live with Emani and Alyssa.

I have high standards and the price doesn't matter. I just want them in their own private place.

Now I'm on the way to meet with my father. He said he had some news to share with me.

I pull up to a bar and wait from him to tell me that he's here.

He texts me and tells me that he's already inside. I get out and make my way in. I immediately spot him.

"What was so important that we had to meet here?" I ask him and take a seat on the stool next to him.

"You're mother." He says with a sigh and takes a shot

"What mother?" I ask him confused. I've never known my mother. It's weird though. I've never seen her in person but somehow my dad has after she gave birth to me cause Anex, Gionni, and I all have the same mother. It was like one day he would just show up to Tabithas house and have a baby in his arms.

"Son I didn't make you all on my own." He says

"What is this about?" I ask him now getting upset.

"She wants to meet you." He says while looking at me.

"For what? I'm a grown man now?!" I ask him getting loud slightly.

"Calm down, and because she wants to get to know Emani and Alyssa as well as you boys." He says and downs another shot.

"You're joking right?" I ask looking at him like he's stupid.

"No." He says with a shrug.

I know nothing about this woman and he expects me to allow her around my siblings and my daughter and niece.

"Where the fuck has she been all these fucking years?! Why now!" I yell at him getting extremely mad that he really expects me to allow her into my life.

"Rome." He says simply.

"Listen I'm about to black out. I need you to tell me something about her! I need to know what's going on! Why'd she leave? Why didn't she want to raise us?" I ask him attempting to finally get some answers.

He would never tell me anything about her. It was as if she didn't really exist.

"Armani, you're mother is blind. I purposefully kept her away from everything and everyone. She would have been an easy target. She knows everything about you. I still talk to her. I just couldn't allow myself to let her be hurt in anyway. She stayed in Rome, she's always been in Rome in hiding. She couldn't raise you boys on her own and I couldn't bring her here." He says with a sigh and I'm honestly shocked.

My mother is blind? How'd she meet my dad?! Did he take advantage of her? Did they love each other? I have so many fucking questions and my head is pounding right now.

My breathing gets heavy and uneven and all of a sudden all I see is black.
