"Wow, Abhi! It's awesome that we'll be living so close to each other," Siya said, her excitement bubbling over. "Abhi?" Purvi asked, surprised. "Yeah, Abhimanyu Singhania—the guy I told you about," Siya explained.
"I'm Karan Singhania, and this is my wife, Aarti," Karan introduced himself. "Oh, Purvi, it's great to finally meet you in person!" Aarti smiled at her new friend.
"How do you two know each other?" Karan asked curiosity in his eyes. "They go to the same school," Purvi replied.
"Isn't Siya something special? She just called Abhimanyu 'Abhi,' and he didn't even mind," Karan whispered to Aarti, his voice barely above a murmur.
"Why don't we enjoy some hot tea while dinner's being prepared? Abhimanyu, how's school been treating you so far?" Purvi asked, her tone friendly. "I bet it's been tough saying goodbye to your friends," she added. "Not really, Auntie. I didn't make many friends," Abhimanyu admitted.
"Oh, no worries. Our Siya is the same way," Purvi replied, understanding. "With your outgoing personality, I'm sure you two will get along great. Siya, why don't you properly introduce yourself?" Purvi suggested. "Sure, Mumma!" Siya said, a little nervous but eager.
"Um, hey! I'm Siya. What's your name? What do you like to do? What's your favorite subject or book?" She fired off the questions quickly, her excitement showing.
"Siya, darling, give the poor boy a chance to catch his breath! You're moving at lightning speed. How are you ever going to make new friends or find a boyfriend like this?" Purvi teased. "Does Auntie not realize how extroverted her daughter is?" Abhimanyu thought, amused by her comment.
"I know what you're thinking, Abhimanyu. Siya's always been like this. She's outgoing and bubbly with her close friends, but she gets shy around new people. If she's trying to step out of her comfort zone to befriend you, then you must be pretty special. Clearly, you've made a good impression," Purvi said with a knowing smile.
Abhimanyu felt a bit embarrassed as Purvi seemed to read his thoughts. He wondered if he really came off as that nice in front of Siya or if it was just a front.
"Siya, sweetie, could you give Abhimanyu a quick tour of the house?" Purvi asked. "Of course, Mumma! Let's go, Abhi!" Siya replied, her excitement infectious. "Sure," Abhimanyu murmured, a hint of a smile on his face.

"This is Ma and Papa's room, and over there is the guest room. And this..." Siya started, happily showing Abhimanyu around the house.
"No way, I haven't even tidied up my room yet, let alone hidden my 'traumatized one' theory. What if he finds it? I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate that," Siya thought to herself. "Wait, let me go in first. I'll call you in," she said, turning to Abhimanyu. "Okay," he replied.
