Hey, lovelies!
I know you all had a bunch of questions about the plot and characters, so let's dive right in!Q: Why didn't Abhimanyu choose to show favouritism towards Siya in front of Alia?
A: Okay, so here's my take on it. Alia has been Abhimanyu's best friend for a long time, and after Rishabh's death, he kind of stepped into the role of her older brother. Moving to a new city wasn't easy for him, and he was already dealing with a lot. When he met Siya, she started to mean a lot to him, but he didn't know about Alia's plan. Even though Siya was his priority, he couldn't just forget about the people who had always been there for him. Alia was like a sister to him, and he didn't want to hurt her. So, for him, Siya and Alia were in two very different places in his life – one was the love of his life, and the other was family. He just chose not to hurt Alia by making things awkward between them.
Q: Why did Rajveer choose to get involved in a game of revenge he had no idea about?
A: Rajveer really didn't know what he was getting into, and yeah, it was a huge mistake. But in this story, I wanted to make every character feel real, with their flaws and mistakes. Rajveer messed up, and he'll regret it for the rest of his life. Honestly, even if someone forgives you, it's your own conscience that sticks with you forever. Don't we all make mistakes, sometimes even huge ones? I wanted to show that transparency and how we all can slip up.
Q: Why did Rajveer choose to hurt Siya or ruin her relationship?
A: From Rajveer's point of view, he thought he was protecting Siya. He was scared, like we all are at times, right? We're all afraid of messing up. And sometimes, to cover up one mistake, we end up making a bunch more. It's that feeling of panic where you just make things worse instead of better.
Q: Why would Siya and Abhimanyu choose to communicate over letters instead of meeting each other?
A: Abhimanyu and Siya had their own way of handling things in their relationship. They didn't really have the time to meet and talk things out before Rajveer and Alia got involved and messed things up. I think we can all relate to this—when we need to talk about something that might hurt or upset the other person, we often choose to text or write it down instead of saying it face-to-face. It's kind of the same for them. The letters gave them a way to express what they needed to say without the immediate pressure of being face-to-face.
Q: If Abhimanyu and Siya couldn't solve their problems right now, how would they cope with them in the future?
A: This was Abhimanyu and Siya's first real relationship, and let's be honest—none of us are perfect when we're doing something for the first time, right? So, while they may not have everything figured out right now, they'll learn from their mistakes. Relationships take time, growth, and figuring out how to handle things as they go. They'll figure it out, just like any couple does—by working through the rough patches and becoming stronger together.
Q: Why didn't Rajveer decide to tell Siya the truth himself?
A: When we make mistakes, we often feel guilty and ashamed, and we're scared of facing the consequences. Rajveer was no different—he was afraid of losing what he had, especially his relationship with Siya. He probably thought it'd be better if she calmed down and talked to Abhimanyu first, instead of him directly telling her the truth and making everything worse.
Q: Rajveer is called the most "nasty" and "disgusting" character in the story. Why is that?
A: I get why people might call Rajveer that, but trust me, that's not how I intended him to be seen. He's just a human being who made some big mistakes—just like we all do. He's got flaws, and I wanted to make him relatable. Nobody's perfect, and that's what makes us all unique. Yes, Rajveer messed up, but calling him names doesn't really capture the complexity of his character. He's someone who made a mistake, and that's something anyone could do—whether it's a best friend, a sibling, or even a parent.
Q: Why did Siya and everyone forgive Rajveer so quickly?
A: This goes back to the transparency I wanted to show. If I put myself in Siya's shoes, wouldn't we all wonder, "Okay, everything's okay now, so why wouldn't I forgive my brother who's been there for me all these years?" The love he had given her all her life had to mean something. The situation, in the end, was different from when the truth first came out. If Abhimanyu hadn't been around, Siya's reaction might have been different, but because things worked out, her forgiveness came quicker. Also, as someone who's studied psychology, I can tell you that our reactions often depend a lot on the circumstances we're in. If everything's calm and resolved, we tend to be more forgiving.
Until Next Time,
Aani. 🌟✩₊˚.☪︎ ⁺₊✧
