Abhimanyu woke up to the first light of dawn, gently nudging Siya awake. She opened her eyes, a soft smile spreading across her face as she leaned in for a quick morning kiss. "Good morning," she whispered, snuggling closer for a moment before they both reluctantly got up.
They quietly made their way back to Rajveer and Siya's room. As they neared the door, Abhimanyu gave Siya a quick goodbye. "See you at breakfast," he said, flashing her a smile before heading down the corridor.
Just then, Rajveer returned from his morning walk and spotted Abhimanyu. "What are you doing here so early?" he asked casually, though there was a hint of curiosity in his voice.
"Good morning, Bhai" Abhimanyu greeted. "I ran into Siya in the corridor. She was just coming back from the girls' night." Rajveer narrowed his eyes slightly, looking sceptical. "Abhimanyu, what were you really doing?"
Realizing he couldn't keep up the lie, Abhimanyu decided to be honest. "Alright, she was with me. But I swear all we did was watch a movie, talk for a bit, and then she read her book until she fell asleep." Rajveer studied him for a moment, then gave him a quick pat on the shoulder. "I trust you, Abhimanyu."
Abhimanyu blinked, a little taken aback. "You do?" "Yeah," Rajveer said simply before heading into the room, leaving Abhimanyu standing there, still processing how easily Rajveer had believed him. With a mix of relief and surprise, Abhimanyu walked away. Rajveer's trust meant a lot, and it only made him more determined to live up to it.

The group gathered around the breakfast table, sleepily making their way through the morning. Abhimanyu and Rajveer were already seated, while Dhruv animatedly talked about their plans for the day.
"So, how did everyone sleep?" Abhimanyu asked, glancing around the table. Dhruv gave him a sly grin. "I bet you had a great night, Abhi."
Before Abhimanyu could respond, Rajveer cleared his throat, his tone pointed. "Just a reminder, Dhruv, I'm here, and the girl you're talking about is my little sister." Abhimanyu couldn't help but laugh as he gave Dhruv a playful smack on the back of his head. "Watch it, Dhruv."
Just then, the girls joined the group. Tanya and Alia took their seats, and Siya sat beside Abhimanyu, giving him a shy smile. Rajveer and Tanya exchanged a brief, meaningful glance, silently acknowledging their conversation from the previous night.
Their guide arrived, a cheerful man with an easy smile. "Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a restful night because today's trek to Triund is going to be exciting!"
He began explaining the details of the trek—what to expect along the way, the route, and the expected duration. The group listened eagerly, anticipation growing with each word. "Remember to stay hydrated and stick together," the guide emphasized. "It's a beautiful trek, but safety first!"
