Over the next two weeks, Rajveer made sure Siya stayed busy all the time. He filled her days with study sessions, family outings, and other activities, leaving her no chance to spend any time alone with Abhimanyu. Siya barely had a free moment to think, let alone meet him.
At the same time, Alia continued to work her tricks. She carefully set up small situations that seemed harmless but caused big misunderstandings—an odd text here, a casual comment there. Slowly but surely, doubts started to settle in Siya's mind, making her question everything she shared with Abhimanyu.
Siya felt torn. She still loved Abhimanyu, but the doubts Alia had planted kept growing. She couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that maybe she didn't know him as well as she thought. Her heart wanted to trust him, but every little incident made her overthink and doubt their relationship.
Abhimanyu noticed the distance between them and it weighed on him. He could feel Siya pulling away, and it hurt. He wanted to talk to her, clear up all the misunderstandings, and tell her how much she meant to him. But he held back, hoping things would get better once Alia left for Delhi. He figured that with Alia gone, he could finally sit down with Siya and sort everything out.

Rajveer stood quietly at Siya's door, watching her focus hard on the papers spread across her desk. She was so lost in her work that she didn't notice him at first.
"Hey, princess," Rajveer said softly. Siya looked up, smiling as soon as she saw him. "Bhai! Come in. What's up?"
Rajveer walked into the room and closed the door behind him. His eyes landed on the notes scattered across her desk, neatly organized but full of scribbles. Taking a deep breath, he prepared himself for what he had to do, even though it weighed on his heart.
"Are you working on the farewell play?" Rajveer asked, keeping his tone light.
"Yeah," Siya replied with a thoughtful frown. "Most of it's done, but I'm stuck on the lead character's goodbye speech. It's the emotional peak of the play, and I want it to be just right."
Rajveer saw his chance. "Need some help with that part?" he offered casually. Siya brightened up, grateful. "Yes, please! You're so good with words. I'd love to hear your ideas."
Rajveer nodded, guilt twisting inside him. "Alright. How about something like this..." He leaned over her shoulder, trying to sound calm and natural.
"Start with, 'I never thought it would come to this, but maybe we need to accept that some things just aren't meant to last.'" Siya listened intently, writing it all down word for word. Her brows pulled together as she tried to picture the emotion in the scene.
Rajveer continued carefully, each word a mix of regret and hidden guilt. "Then add, 'I don't regret what we had, but I can't ignore the distance growing between us. Maybe letting go is the best thing for both of us.'"
