"Is my princess alright?" Virajas asked, his voice full of concern as he stepped into the house. "Yes, Papa," Siya replied with a calm smile, feeling comforted by her father's presence.
"So, how was your day, Mumma, and Papa?" Siya asked eagerly, curiosity bubbling up as she waited to hear about their day with old friends. "We had an absolute blast, sweetie," Purvi answered with a big grin. Siya felt a surge of happiness seeing her mom so cheerful after such a long time. With Virajas often busy with work, family outings were rare. But knowing that Purvi had a fun day out brought a wide smile to Siya's face.
"By the way, did Abhimanyu take good care of you?" Virajas asked, his usual scepticism evident, though he trusted Abhimanyu more than most. "He did, Papa, probably better than anyone else could have," Siya replied, trying to hide the blush creeping up her cheeks as she thought about their first kiss.
"Oh, and the Singhanias have invited us for dinner tonight," Purvi mentioned, casually dropping the evening's plan. "Oh, Mumma, that sounds great!" Siya exclaimed, her excitement bubbling at the thought of spending more time with Abhimanyu and his family.

"What should I wear?" Siya pondered aloud, still undecided about her outfit for the evening at the Singhanias'. As she weighed her options, Purvi entered the room, shocked to find her daughter still not ready.
"Siya, we were supposed to leave by now! What have you been doing for the past hour?" Purvi asked, puzzled by the delay. "I've been trying to figure out what to wear, Mom," Siya replied, hoping her indecision sounded reasonable.
"Why not wear the colour Abhimanyu thinks suits you best?" Purvi suggested, knowing how much her daughter valued Abhimanyu's opinion. "Oh, yeah, maybe... but just so you know, it's not because of him," Siya quickly added. "I'm really just unsure about what to wear."
Purvi smiled knowingly. "Got it. We'll head out first, and you can join us in half an hour."
Once Purvi left the room, an idea suddenly clicked in Siya's mind—what if she wore pink? Abhimanyu had always said the colour made her look radiant. A small smile tugged at her lips as she reached for the soft pink dress hanging in her closet.

"Welcome, Aroras!" Karan greeted them as he ushered Purvi and Virajas inside. Abhimanyu, already lounging on the couch, was anxiously waiting for Siya to arrive.
"Where's Siya?" Aarti asked, turning to Purvi. "Still getting ready. I don't get that girl—she spent an hour and still couldn't decide what to wear! Hopefully, she's ready by now," Purvi replied with a sigh.
Abhimanyu couldn't help but smile. He knew Siya was trying to look her best for him, which is why she was taking her time. Just then, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it," Abhimanyu jumped up, excited to be the first to see her.
